By "genius" I mean someone with superior mental and physical abilities. Or a unique outlook compared to everyone else's. An original perspective on things that is always accurate.
 
No, Just because a perspective is original does not make it accurate.

Also, weed doesn't give you superpowers.

As soon as you start thinking you're a genius you're an idiot anyway.
 
Definitely not. Marijuana can give you a change in perspective sometimes with it's pseudo psychedelic nature. That doesn't mean your new perspective/ideas will always be correct.
 
I've come up with ome crazzzzy blow your mind ideas while smoking that would usually come from a prof . Lol


...... That said . I've also said some pretty dumb things as well
 
Marijuana can't create anything that isn't there.
If you are a genius may create a new path in your thinking and allow you to think differently and come up with something totally new.
The same with creativity.
 
What is genius anyway?

An inherent ability to work the academic system the world has decided upon? A better retention for hand fed information from teachers?

Because I think the way kids are forced to learn is a total load of shit anyway.
 
No. Absolutely not. I think that drugs can help facilitate genius, but never cause or grant it. I find it easier to be creative after smoking moderate amounts of pot, but I doubt that's a trait inherent in the high itself.

In short, drugs do not make you smarter, but you might make you smarter if thats a goal you intend to pursue, and I think drugs can help if used as a tool.
