I can't believe that chart has lorazepam and chlordiazepoxide as sedating benzos but not alprazolam. Also, "hangover" and "confusion" are given as side effects for some of the benzos but not others (like alprazolam)...
I'd take the information on this chart with a grain of salt.
Well put vonchampz! I liked lorazepam for this very reason, using it to relax myself to study for a 6 hour class is very, very effective. I think lorazepam is a better benzo for the day time to be honest.
^I agree with this. I was just criticizing the chart for selectively applying the terms. I think we'll be hard-pressed to find someone who would agree that chlordiazepoxide is more sedating than alprazolam!![]()
Damn I don't know how you can study on benzos. Shit fogs me up like no other.
Alprazolam (xanax)= number 1 all da way, i.m.o.
to answer your question in one way, i'd say it would come down to a matter of preference. the factor which can throw some variable into the equation is tolerance. to someone with none, ativan would rock yer world, depending on dose size. i would compare it in a way with valium...if your used to benzos, it's not gonna do shit unless u take a shitpile. for instance, i take 6mg of xanax a day, and i took an ativan(highest mg) last week and felt absolutely NOTHING. years ago, if i took the same amount, i would be shitfaced. it's definately worth having(people would pay good money 4 that @ here)but once u get to xanax, and a high dose to go along, the lesser benzos are worthless. small tolerance tho, hell yea it's a keeper. if your prescribed this med, consider yourself lucky, so many people i know can't even get the weakest benzo from a-hole docs. try to hold off on taking it and save for special occasions, keeping the tolerance low and assuring a nice buzz. peace to ya, medicinal marge![]()
^I hope you are using appropriate liquids to inject it because that drug is not water soluble. Search around for more information and check out the Micron Filtering Mega Thread and FAQ for more information on how to reduce the harm associated with shooting pills.
