Do you think there will be better psychedelics in the future?

IMO, I think that most cool shit ends up happening on accident. Thats why learning how to improvise in life is a really important skill-- sometimes you catch on to something in the moment and you just gotta take it and run with it.

i agree. i think alot of things are discovered either on accident, or its one of those things that people think is just a crazy thought. Im sure things like TV and radio were once thought of as ridiculous ideas.

im just as big a fan of LSD as you are.

Ive experienced the magic that is clean and LSD and know hw life changingly beautiful it is.

But i would love for there to be some LSD analogue to come about that would be just as good if not better than good ol' L-25

LSM comes to mind as a good candidate. And ofcourse i would loved to try ALD but we know that is an impossibility.
And i dont know enough about chemistry to list any others but im sure there are some hidden gems in those lysergamides

I would love to see a psychedelic peptide! I'm not sure if that's even possible, but they seem to be able to design peptides which bind to many other receptors, so why not for the 5ht receptors as well...
 
I have high hopes for the future. Look at how much the world of drugs has changed over the last 30 years. If I'm lucky I have a good 60 years left in me. That is a lot of time for things to come about. Humans will master their brain eventually. Maybe we won't even need drugs to get high anymore. Implant a keyboard into your skull then just press a button and your brain sprays out dopamine.
 
I definatly see some more 2Cs out there. Maybe some 2C-B-DFLY. i'd love to try that
 
Yea I personally can never imagine something being stronger then Salvia. And god help the poor fuck that finds it.
 
For good psychedelics, I think the following are the ones near the top (well personal preferance)

LSD, DOM, 2C-D, 2C-E, mescaline, DPT, DET (probably psilocin, but my body doesn't react well to the other things in mushrooms, so I'll hold my opionion on those!). I have a funny feeling that LSM will be another goodie though - the effcts of LSD with psilocin's length of action, a big plus in my book. Shame it's only a third the potency of LSD but c'est la vie =D
 
How about the 3,5-dimethylmorpholide? It would be analogous to LSM but by adding the two methyl groups roughly in the same position as the methyl groups in the dimethylazetidide compound, the potency should go up... perhaps this compound would have the best of both worlds... high potency + shorter duration.

Although it's all speculation until someone goes and makes it.

i've been wondering about the same thing, but not about "regular" psychedelics
no doubt that there are thousands of 2C-like substances to be be discovered

i'm curious about the "big ones"
what and when will we discover something as interesting and powerful as 5-MeO-DMT, DMT, salvia or ketamine
and what could it be like

even if it doesn't overpower them, when will we find something with effects different enough to make it as interesting

it seems hard to imagine anything more powerful than 5-MeO-DMT
but it's also hard to imagine that we'd already know the most powerful substances possible

what are the chances that after 13.7 billion years of evolution, we'd luckily be born right in the very century during which the most powrful substances possible would have been isolated?
 
No, I personally think we've discovered all of the most important psychedelics.

It's never going to get better than DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, DOC, acetylpsilocin, or LSD.
