Do you think people care if they see me smoking weed?

Just take 1 joint/blunt/whatever with you and no more drugs or para.

Try walking around the block and smoking its not as shady.

I hit my bowl in my truck all the time...usually bend down so nosey bitches can't see.
 
might not be the smartest idea but I would try to find a place on the side of one of the buildings you are around. Do not smoke in your car.
 
I've been in a few car rides that ended badly... alcohol ends with a car crash, but the bad 'pot' ones end with a police search! All of my friends that drive would never drive fast enough on mary jane to actually crash, or hitting somebody.

for the sake of harm reduction no one should drive under the influence of any psychoactive substance...

however, with cannabis it really depends on your tolerance imo. should someone who only smokes on occasion and gets blasted to the fucking moon everytime they smoke get behind the wheel of a car? hell no. should a seasoned stoner who rips bongs and smokes blunts all day everyday get behind the wheel while they have a mediocre at best buzz going? well no to be completely 100% safe still probably not but if they did they would obviously be perfectly capable of operating a vehicle.

i've smoked pot for going on 7 years now and i've never once been too stoned to drive, but thats me. everyone is different.

and to the guy above me, chill dude. cannabis discussion is the last place i'd expect people to get hostile

Does it matter how old it is? You still did it, and this thread was like 3rd on the forum chain when I posted. I didnt bother checking when you posted, considering I posted that at 5:50am.

Go and lock yourself in your bedroom and cry into your duvet, take some deep breaths and chill the fuck out. I wasn't giving you shit for smoking weed, it was driving whilst high. If you think thats ok that's your fucked up opinion, don't start giving me shit for disagreeing with it.
 
I drive while high more days than not tbh

and what is your definition of "high" because if its somewhat loose like more or less every day now that im thinking about it
 
I'm so glad I dont have to worry about stuff like this anymore. Since I live in a medical marijuana state and have my card :).

And the people putting this guy down for smoking and driving give me a break. I know this is a harm reduction forum but driving and smoking doesn't compare to drinking and driving.

I think the attitude is generally more relaxed in medical marijuana states. I usually just wait to get home and smoke, but every once in awhile i'll smoke a joint in the car or while walking.

I remember getting smoked out a few times in public by people smoking joints, they weren't the least bit worried about what anyone thought. I like that attitude.

The key is projecting the vibe that you're not doing anything wrong. If you're just out for a stroll around the neighborhood and spark up along the way, not many people will give you a second glance where I live. If they happen to walk past you and you meanmug the shit out of them with eyes redder than the Devil's dick while exhaling a cloud of weed smoke in their face, yeah, you might catch some shit.

My rule of thumb? Keep it away from children, police and known narcs and and I'm in the greenzone. Start acting like a fool and it's easy to cross that line into the red.


Driving is way less predictable, though. If I've got people sharing the road with me I'm keeping the J low and out of sight, all 4 windows slightly cracked and for christ's sake don't hang air fresheners from your rearview if you smoke in your car. It varies state-to-state but I've been pulled over 3 times in the past few years for that shit. "Obstructing my vision," they say. "It's dangerous on the road," they say. Fuck 'em, they're just trying to profile out here in Maryland.

dude people ride dirtbikes through the city all the time if they ever tried to pass something like that it would be about as effective as that curfew they tried to implement

that sucks though, I got a mango tree hanging on my rearview right now and it smells really good

I need to get more of these though, hands down the sickest little tree ive seen. Plus it doesnt smell like cheap cologne like Black Ice does

Have you ever heard of Blunt Power air freshener? Hands down the best air freshener/odor eliminator I've ever come across. Different regions vary with the name (i.e. Blunt Power, Blunt Effects, Blunt Blast) but, to my untrained nose, they're all identical. Google it, man, you can pick one up for super cheap. Around here it's carried at every 7-11 and Dash-in, which is like 400 convenience stores.


That's a sweet looking tree, though. At first glance I thought it was an argyle pattern or some shit.
