The best way to describe the IV rush from K: Take a spring or a lax steel guitar (or whatever instrument) string. Now pluck it. You will feel like that spring/string.

This feeling is exclusive to IVing, though.

Hahah, I thought that was just my experiences! Man, that felt so weird. I felt like those springy doorstops that just twang.

As for pins and needles, I don't really care. It lets me know if I'm gonna get real fucked up though.

they are the people who havent shot morphine and why else would they be voting in this poll but to have their opinions heard. I've never shot morphine and I voted for it. Who are these idiots who vote in polls they didnt make talking about idiots voting in a poll that really doesnt apply to them?

Yes, you'd be surprised that I've seen the "doorstop twang" analogy used by many people who IVed K, including myself. The ear ringing produced, unlike that of, say, a shot of cocaine, really resembles that "brrrrr" spring sound.

I just didn't use that analogy here because to my knowledge these kinds of doorstops are only used in North America :)

Some love it (ie. yours truly & friends), others hate it.

EDIT: Mandrake: No, there is no rush with IM ketamine, but the absolute numbness is still there.

Also, in case you still didn't try K, keep in mind that higher doses will actually make you unable to move. I will remind you to start low on K (I tend to not recommend exact doses on BL because I think this is a dangerous practice). But I'll go out of limb here and say, for me, a moderately low dose is 20mg IM, and 15mg IV. YMMV.

Your not expressing any kind of opinion by voting in a poll about shooting morphine when you have neve had morphine. That is just stupid. You just like clicking on things, yeah?

^ I think it would have been a good idea not to include the last option, since any population you sample (BL or not), there will only be a minority who have IVed Morphine. For example, when I did the poll in PD about Psilocybin and Anxiety, I did not include an option for people who didn't take it because that does not contribute anything to the information requested.

Here's the logic behind the 4th option "Never shot morhine before":
A lot of people will click on a poll button about shooting morphine even if they never have. The reason is they assume things by what they've read. It's not an ethical thing to do but I know people would do it so I added that 4th option to show that these people can click and vote without real inteference with the actual count. I know the count would be modest but it's also interesting to see how many people have shot morphine and how many have not as well. That's my logic...

Maybe it's not filtered enough? I don't know how that's posible since the liquid is double filtered and nearly transparent.

And how many mg's are you booting?

I have shot morphine sulfate without any type of CWE on multiple occasions. Just crush the pills, mix with water, absorb the moisture from the gel into a cotton, draw and shoot. I wouldn't reccomend this because it is dirty and unsafe, but it never caused more pins and needles.

That was around 150-200mg shots.

Oh fuck. Just reading the subject line made me have cold chills. If I close my eyes and concentrate, I can feel those pins and needles. Well... maybe not. Goddammit.

I was lucky enough to get shot up with Morphine numerous times on three seperate occasions. Twice after a wreck, Twice in the ER b/c of back pain due to bad pnumonia and I don't even fucking know how many times the last time was... due to laproscopy surgery.

I remember being 'aware' I was being shot up in the recovery room after surgery and kept cussing and making sounds like I was having great sex. THe nurse had to shhh me. I kept begging for me and they kept giving it. Finally, they had to give up and start shooting me up with Demerol, after I found that out, I told them my pain was better 'cause that shit sucks, IMO.

Best fucking feeling in this entire universe. Period.

For some reason there's something in my head screaming about IV technique and what not. Well... nice go guys.

Absolutely splendid. I love it, and feeling like you're going to topple over.......sigh....

I love it, you feel like your buzzing with energy, i just kinda stretch out as much as i can while it happens cause it makes it feel soo much better, its all tingley and buzzy, its great, i can remember what it feels like now.......mmmmm

taking like benadryl and shit before you shoot takes away from this pins and needles, and, imo, half the fun

Yes, I love it coz it confirms I've hit & everything is OK! I get a tingly brain & face, then my chest. Lovely. I wonder why this stuff is so addictive?

I love it but the first time it did scare me

why the fuck is my brain itching?

right now i'd fuckinn love the vial of morphine i had a few days ago
i don't like morphine in partticular
the pins and needls stuff's ok too
but nothing can even come close to dope...
i'd settle for some fuckinn pentazocine now if i'd have any

I enjoyed my first and only injection of morphine in the emergency room. That warm, tingly feeling going up my arm. Totally got my mind off the pain in my damaged internal organs.
