Do you guys have to worry about fentanyl in Europe?

Yeah its just interesting they dont wanna stop it all together. I mean we controlled Afghanistan for 20 years and in that time we had direct access to vast amounts of poppy feilds and they didnt stop them from growing it. But the longer we stayed the less it came untill now its all but impossible to find real heroin here.
Just to say, there are reports of fentanyl being found in heroin in Ireland. So please do be careful.
The problem now that all you find is fentanyl. O ly problem is its white power. And its now alot easier to just crush a random white pill to cut it up. The people doing this dont care it can kill you. They only wanna make that money. Its now more likely to get almost no actual fentanyl in it.

I'm assuming it comes from Pakistan as I live in a Pakistani neighbourhood. Regardless of its point of origin its rubbish!

That does not surprise me for a moment, Most of the gear around here is packed full of benzos ( when I get tested at CGL I always test positive for benzos despite never taking them )I'm just outside Brum myself & only had gear with Fent in once, it was horrific.
You'll find the gear isn't from Pakistan btw, it's from the Afghan hills & you can trust me on that one

It's everywhere occasionally I'm sure. Some people prefer it to h as it's so strong and these are damaged people who just want to be unconscious for a while.

Fentanyl has been sourced from China almost exclusively for a LONG while. Whilst it got its grim entrance to the black market from part of the Soviet Bloc (as an alternative to Desomorphine/Krokodil), the reagents and equipment required to synth large amounts of prolines were, and are, much easier to source from China, partially because their police accept bribes and the country itself is built on exports.
I spent over a year loading my vape pipe or syringe with stupid doses of Fent and it abso-fucking-lutely ruined my tolerance forever. Even 6 years later it still takes around 250mg of Oxy to get that fuzzy opioid blanket.

There are signs up in needle exchanges warning of fentanyl in Ireland. And least there were a year ago.

The ex Soviet country with the large amount of (originally 3-methyl)fentanyl is Estonia. I believe it replaced heroin there over night. It's produced in st Petersburg as far as I know there was a chemical trade in fent and crystal methadone. Where as Moscow is mainly heroin.

Pharma grade fentanyl was available a few years back. Think around 5-6 years ago or longer? Extremely cheap but there was a lot of it at the time. I haven't seen it since then and it was never sold as heroin or mixed in. Most of the people I met selling it at the time ended up overdosing on it themselves and are now dead.
Similar to methamphetamine it only was around small circles but once it was available there was plenty. Completely fucks up your tolerance and only good when there is a lot of it. Always felt like you were close to overdosing when you got any decent effects. Way too short lasting also and tolerance rose too quick. Wouldn't be surprised if it's still around but not at a street level.

News to me - then again it would be as dont frequent needle exchanges (or shoot up as a general rule), and I don't be around anyone who does to know if people are dropping.
Causes me to wonder (almost wrote worry) that if fent did begin doing the rounds around Dublin if it would push the price of actual Heroin up like in some parts of the the US.

It's been coming into the UK more and more over the last five years or so. I've definitely had some gear that was cut with it (you can tell the difference), and it's been driving overdoses up. Here in my little corner of the woods it's thankfully still quite rare but I got fucking paranoid. I test every single shot now and I've had a few positives over the last couple years.

Interested (from a personal standpoint) how the end user would test for fentanyl? Drug testing kits (types used by police etc) are relatively expensive. Even if bought in bulk, and I’m not aware of any needle exchange or the like offering them, either for free or at cost price.

I get mine from Dance Safe. They cost 19.99 (Canadian) dollars for a pack of 10, so at 2 dollars per strip this would get prohibitively expensive for most heavy daily users (and I don't know what your frequency is). However they do discounts and also regular coupons ; check their website. If you got some user mates that you can pool resources with, then you could buy in bulk which comes much cheaper.
I have found these by far the most reliable that I've come across.
(beware of those that get sold on the street ; often they're cheap Chinese makes and as good as completely ineffective.)
I do worry about the black people in uk, they are watching tv programme about the black people selling fent for money in usa and they were awe of them amd wanted to make so much money and doesnt value human live and this PISS ME off. A young kid age 13 died of OD caused.by fent in london and i know the dude who sold it to this kid. I reported them to the police. They are fuckin disguisting! I confronted them about it. They said thry really regretted it and will never do this again but itd all bullshit! I fuckin DESPISED FENT, its fuckin shittty fake drug. I truly will never understand the young people in us. Who really doesnt understand what proper real heroin is all bout! FFS.
Im sorry but you are dead wrong, heroin still does come to uk from afghanistan. There is very few people the dickhead who want to max profit by throwim in fent and h to sell. The good news is MAJORITY of h users in uk HATE fentanyl, some evil dealer espically young lads will try to force upon addict to take fent or cuttin them into h and sell it to unaware customers.
