You guys in The UK are lucky. They aren't as harsh on people; as they are in certain parts of America.

( the cops and the judicial systems, vary from state to state, then federal Bullshit, but you can get really screwed here, but things are getting better).

Unfortunately, when I drank, I couldn't run faster than the fat American cops.lol
Besides, running away means more trouble and pain.lol

I'm my case, I didn't 'get' naked. I already WAS naked on account of being in the shower.

Then I overheard a totally innocent conversation between my flatmates which convinced me they were plotting imminent murder against me.
So I ran out into the street covered in nothing more than soap suds, banging in panic on total stranger's doors screaming to be saved

Not sure who “they” is in this context, but it definitely isn’t true in the case of the British Empire. India only expanded as far as… India throughout thousands of years.

Same goes for basically all Colonial Conquests.

Were Australian Aborigines threatening Britain somehow? Obviously not. I literally cannot think of a country that was tbh. Can you?
