Never for me. I wisely chose not to get my license. Public transport is fine for me.

My friends and family is at me to get my license, but I know if I did, I might decide I wasn't too fucked to drive, and then I would be one of those people who I rant at when they decide to drive fucked.

same here but when i know i gotta drive i try not to drink to much so me and my friends wil be safe.but on the other hand i ike to cruz when im on h not to the point where im nodding but just coasing with my system at almost full blast but thats only when im alone.
 
Man i remember this one time when i was high on 2 hits of acid, 4 grams of shrooms, 200mg of pure mdma, and an ounce of weed I went driving around and ended up crashing into a pole.
 
way too many bad experiences driving fucked up. totaled 2 cars: car 1, my first experience with valium; car 2, nodding on oc. and a time that randomly sticks in my mind was smoking a bowl laced with tussionex. my buddy had to literally drive my car from the passenger seat because i couldn't drive the turns in the neighborhood going 20 mph. i'm still surprised later that night i safely managed to drive home alive, car intact, and not arrested, i was all over each side of the road. god knows there's about 20 other stories that are equally as bad, too.
 
I will only drive on the weakest of e pills, i refuse to even attempt driving on any psychedelics
 
I don't drive drunk, I have never driven drunk

However, I drive high all the time... I used to live in LA on Wilshire and can remember many times practically nodding off in the car and fighting it off to get to my apartment

however, i only was traveling less than 10 miles

also, i love driving high on long trips (not nodding tho)...I drive to LA/Sac and vice versa and almost always drive high
 
neither weed nor opiates/benzos (dependent/tolerant to both; daily use) make me drive any worse

though people do get annoyed when weed makes me drive extra-cautiously. they tend to yell "GO! GO! that car wont hit you!". well, it looks like it might 8)
 
^ driving on a full dose of ketamine would be dangerous, but MDMA would probably make most better drivers than normal :P

hahaha yeeah, i find i can drive under the influence of marijuana quite well thank you.
 
I have ADHD...so driving on speed actually helps my driving. Weed...I get more paranoid about my driving and try harder to be careful. Alcohol. I completely avoid it. But my car is wrecked because i crashed it completely SOBER without ADHD meds...maybe they would have helped lol.

lol, this has happened to me a few times. one time i had to walk a stretch of 20 meters to get from a house to my car and i fell down twice, peed on the side of the house and almost stepped on a cat (which is when i fell down the second time) then i somehow got the mid-sized sedan out of a parking space that was clearly meant for a mini and drove 40km squinting out of one eye.

well, that was when i was an alcoholic. now i drive a total heat score so i wouldn't dare drive drugged up. in retrospect, it was never a good idea.

even though i still think i could handle myself driving drunk or drugged, there's still the chance that some other dipshit will plow into me; sober, and i get fucking charged for it because i'm the one inebriated. there are just so many ways that driving like an idiot can ruin your life, and that doesn't just include driving drunk.

even just driving plain irresponsibly on public roads can change your life for the worst. two of my former classmates were "road racing" when one of them struck and killed a person. they were good people at heart so i feel bad knowing that kind of shit will haunt them forever.

so please, think of the consequences before you consider driving under the influence. even though they may not seem very likely to happen, IF in the off chance they do happen they can fucking WRECK your life. and that's shit you only get one of. yeah yeah, cliché i know, but it makes the point stick.
 
God the other day i turned up at work, i collect mail for Royal Mail, expecting to while away the hours sorting mail till my collection times, so to prepare myself for this horribkle t6ask i snorted 40mg of oxy, as i do every morning. Now i dump my bag only to get told i had to do a ciollection due to some guy being absent. Oh shit, i was pretty nervous about this as the last time i drove at work while stoned i crashed my van big time. BUt i managed it! Only goiong faster than ever and jabbering like a maniac to the ladies in the post offices.
 
well my answer has changed now from never to always...i stil dont drive after smokin weed but if i didnt drive while high (on opiates) I would never be able to drive....:\

i love driving right as a rush is hitting me....On the highway , the exit for rt. 80 has a gas station that i always go to rightbefor i geton the highwayanddo a shot in the bathroom, and then i am rushin and high as hell as i pass thru the city of paterson, lookin down seein all the lights at night and then past paterson right by exit 60 u see the marcal factory with the giant sign lit up over the highway....u head closer towards the city and its just a beautiful sight, i love takin rt 80 or rt 3 east towards NYC at night time...i aint even gotta be goin there, just takin a nice cruise while high as hell enjoyin the rush.....

on the other hand.....driving while tired, after the rush is long wore off, and ur just in that itchy scratchy tired noddy state of mind where its a struggle to keep ur eyes open and on the road and every second is full of fear that ur goin outside the lines...not so much fun
 
I tend to be cautious when driving "stoned"
So Im guessing Im a very safe driver when it comes down to that.
 
Sadly, yes, but I do it infrequent enough where it doesn't chase my mind all day, thinking about it. I did it in college ALL the time, but now that I'm out, I have sobered up quite a bit.
 
The worst time i drove wasted was when i gave my mate a lift over to mine on the back of my motorbike (a honda hornet 600) Now this guys is 6ft5" or so and was dressed in jeans, tshirt and a beanie was all his head had to protect itself. It was horrifying as the bike kept wanting to wash due to the excess weight. Damn scary when you've inhaled a bit too much.
 
yes i used to drive while high all the time. now i don't really get high that often anymore so i don't. i think the worst thing to drive on is alcohol, anymore than 2-3 drinks and there is no driving for me, at least no good driving ; ]
 
drinkin only 4 beers in a hour but driving back after that cuz youre only buzzed and pretty straight to drive....

I don't see a major problem with driving high or drunk just as long as you haven't had too much.
four beers is pushing it a little IMHO. Unless you mean those little stubby beers of course.
If you've had four pints of Guinness in an hour you'd need to be one heavy bastard to be able to drive competently afterward.
Not that plenty of people don't do that in my country. And we're known for being shite drivers anyway. With shite roads. and shite weather for that matter. Not to mention shite food and cost of living, and shite drugs, and cigarette prices (gone up again). The list goes on...

But getting back to the point, sure why not drive after a couple of beers as long as you're a decent driver to begin with? everyone should know their own limit.

*edit - wait we're talkin about weed here arent we? eh, same applies I suppose
