Opioids do opioids work under the tongue?

Oxycodone isn't a prodrug, unless you're talking about the tiny amount of oxymorphone it's metabolized into. But Oxycodone is active all on it's own, and makes up for the majority of it's analgesic properties. The Oxymorphone is responsible for only around 10% of it's effects.

My bad, I was basing that on a post I read here. Knew I shoulda double checked with wikipedia first.
 
just my humble take on the semantics -ime sometimes its a rush, intense and fast and kinda short...other times its what i call a 'wash', as in it washes over you, also great, less intense and a little less brief... does that resonate with anyone else? just curious. i like em both. as mentioned above, the peak is the goal for me and rush or wash is bonus :)
