Do cops actually plant drugs on people?

living in the suburbs of chicago, you can guess where i cop my dope. the cops in chicago are notoriously corrupt. their attitude can best be summed up by quoting denzel in training day: "we the police, we can do what the fuck we want."

they do plant shit. i've seen it happen, and shared cells with many guys who have been on the short end of that bullshit. i remember one guy i knew was facing a case where they stopped him and a buddy on the west side. his buddy who was driving had 12 bags, he had none. cops charged them each with 12 bags.

and god help you if you ask for a lawyer. you might as well ask for them to make your life hell. my buddy decided to use his right to remain silent, asking only for a lawyer. his stay at the local precinct was spent entirely in solitary.
 
See, I would never, ever put up with something like a cop's breaking my balls. I would be in touch with a lawyer so fast, peeing into cups and collecting whatever bit of contradictory-evidence I could find. I would throw every dollar, every cent into my lawyer to make that police officer's life miserable.

In fact, I have done it before. I remember filing a complaint against two officers and the police department not wanting to follow-up with me; they ignored my phone calls and weeks went by without hearing anything.

So I made posters, posters with the two officers' names and badge numbers in big, black, bold text. The posters basically said, "Have you had a problem with the (blank) police department? Then contact me!"

I walked into the police station and handed the receptionist three copies of the poster, one for the chief of police, one for the deputy chief, and another for the lieutenant.

I received a phone call maybe an hour later from the lieutenant, and he asked me what I planned on doing with the posters I had left for him. I told him that I planned on distributing them to the town's residents, organizing a "file-a-complaint-against-an-officer" day, and having the news there to capture my holding the police station's doors open for maybe a dozen residents to march into the lobby and file a complaint against a police officer.

Needless to say, he wasn't too happy, and he made sure to rectify the situation more to my liking. ;)
 
teethmarks yea the paterson boys are some real dicks. A few paterson cops got busted recently for bein illegally scripted steroids and other growth hormone shit ...gettin violent with suspects etc...

Ima female and i even been threatened by them, you know the ones who roll around in the paddy wagon , the sherriff narc team (not the UC narcs from the state police who roll around in the unmarked cars, but the paterson sheriff squad with the big truck with the star on the sides that they throw u in the back of) they said me and my boy had a hand to hand, said they gonna smash our face on the sidewalk, etc...i told the story somewhere farther back in this thread already. screamin in my face close enough that their spit landin on my face, u know? "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" everytme i tried to answer one of their questions....and we was clean...they are some huge assholes in paterson. it wouldnt suprise me if the whole squad of regulars, TNT, sheriffs/corrections officers, and all them was on roids. The only ones ive ever dealt with that wasnt some straight up shady-ass, dirty, nasty rotten muh fuckas is the undercover state police narcs that dress plainclothes and ride in the Nissan Altimas, they aint so dick about shit but they just work in paterson they aint paterson cops thats why. all the paterson boys tho some of the meanest cops u meet if u get em on a bad day.
 
I have heard stories of cops planting drugs on people & beating the shit out of them too... The nice cops will give you a choice jail or your ass beat while handcuffed ...While the assholes will beat the shit out of you and plant drugs on you while taking you to the Jail.
Fuck NJ cops they almost all roid raging
 
Anything that can happen, will happen. And this has happened before fo' sho.

Whether or not it is likely is another question entirely and probably depends on a multitude of factors (location, police law enforcement, the individual cop and whether or not hes an asshole or a good person). For example, an area like Camden, NJ where they have 50% police force unemployment, and the pay is less than that of a janitor, i'm sure this might be more likely than lets say in an area such as Beverly hills (although they might be corrupt in an entirely different manner).

Unfortunately you can have corrupt cops just like you get corrupt politicians, firemen, cashiers, bankers, gardeners, contractors, the list goes onnnnnnnnnn and onnnnnnn. Anyone cop willing to break the law themselves could do this to you.

Yes its ironic, yes its bullshit because their entire job is to UPHOLD the law. But shit happens and not every police officer is a perfect, bastion of moral fiber. I wont get into % of good/bad cops, but its definitely possible, and has definitely happened.

In the end: its the word of a perceived criminal (i say perceived b/c if they plant drugs you have committed no crime), versus a cop with X amount of time on the job.
 
had weed planted in my friend's car when we were about 17 because we left a window open when we went to the town carnival. Noticed it after we got back and I threw it in my pocket. The cops pulled us over immediately after we pulled out of the parking lot. They tore the car apart, but for some reason didn't search us physically so they never found it. Was basically given a g or so of some very good stuff. Can't complain.
 
Yes the police do sometimes plant drugs on people.
There was a post in the Drugs in The Media forum here on Bluelight a week or 2 ago about this very thing happening and the copper admitted he planted drugs on folk.
 
here's whats happening with me. today i went to the south bay galleria to buy a new pair of jordans. i bought a pair of socks and a couple new hats too. when i got out to the parking lot and unlocked my car i noticed my rear view mirror was turned to an angle that i never turn it to. i've been sober from drugs for almost five years now and i even quit smoking cigarettes for well over three years. i don't like drinking alchie becuase i have to sell it. my only vices are girls and gambling and guns are pretty interesting to me too. but i'm old enough to control those first two things and i know they're give and take. i freaked out a little bit because i know how easily old toyota's are to break into. i've seen it being done when i called up a Triple A Tow truck for service many years ago when i locked myself out of my car. all you need is a little experience. you take a wedge type thingy. like made out of wood or sumthing and put it in between the driver side window and door. then you use this metal slim jim thingy to jimmy the lock open and get into the car. Any ways. I Was working at a liquor store in Lynwood a few months back. like three months ago. i was working it had been a couple weeks already since i started there. thats when i started hearing some disturbing stuff. stuff i never heard working at the 6 or 7 liquor stores before that one. it made me paranoid enough to call my mom and tell her what i was hearing. she suggested that i quit my job so thats what i did. which sucks for me because he was offering salary. $1000 cash for 84 hours a month. str8 cashiering only. it was a sweet deal. Any Ways back to the what happened today at the mall. So i drove back home and i swearing and cursing. i couldn't believe some one actually did this to me. i had done similar things to other people vehicles years ago when i was just a stupid kid, but i thought we were even for it. i mean as far as karma was concerned. i had my registration stickers stolen and my tire slashed. when i got back home i got some of my composure back and i went down stairs to the garage to check my registration and insurance info in the glove compartment. They were both there and they didn't seem tampered with so i was freaking out too bad. i was still mad though. because i didn't do any thing wrong. i went out just driving around the south bay. i noticed there were no police cars around which is unusual because the lapd gardena torrance sheriffs and all the other south bay cops are usually swarming around the streets in there patrol cars. patrolling the city or whatever is that they do. answering calls and stuff like that. i didn't see any. which made me a little suspicious. thats when i noticed my dashboard was a little tampered with. it wasn't flush. it seemed to have been lifted then glued back into place or sum thin like that. i started freaking again. for all i know the drugs can be in my car right now. today's date and time are Sat September 27, 2014 2:42pm. i don't know what else i can do. some one please help me with this one. this is a cry for help. i'm a law biding citizen like 99% of the other people now. i was young and wreckless and even dangerous. but i was just a stupid kid. a kid with out a father who was trying to learn as he went. what ever i've taken from being a bum, i've paid it forward now, and then some. i dont know how to deal with this. i dont have a K9 dog that can sniff out drugs every morning before i go out. can some one give me some advice?
 
I can tell you from firsthand experience that yes they do.I've also had them pocket my drugs and was never charged with anything so yes,they do both and they suck.Never ever underestimate their pettiness and capacity for criminal behavior.The majority of cops IME are nothing but criminals with the backing of the law and justice system.I also know more than one person who was beaten by police while not resisting or otherwise doing anything to warrant it.I have never been beaten but have been threatened with an ass kicking while handcuffed and the cops pig buddies just sat there and laughed.I would happily torture them to death and not lose a minute of sleep over it.When a cop dies,their families need to understand that daddy was a pig and was asking for it.Anyone who wants to fuck with people for a living has something basically mentally wrong with them.The police are the most dangerous gang in existance,with a license to kill and commit all sorts of criminal activities with little fear of repercussions.They get away with this shit on a daily basis and 99% of them deserve a slow,painful death by torture.

It doesn't only happen to African Americans or any other specific group.I'm white and have been fucked with by cops of every color.Once you're on their radar it's on and it never ends with these dirty fuckers.They don't care who they get.That being said,I have been pulled over and had my vehicle searched just because I happened to be giving a black friend a ride home.Neither of us were doing anything illegal or suspicious.When asked what it was all about the pig tells us,and I kid you not,that the housing project we were driving past (not through )was a high drug area and he knows what's up when a white and black man are usually up to when riding together in that area.We were stunned.The city I'm from is known as a high drug area.It's not like that particular neighborhood was much different than the rest of the city and we pointed this out to him.We ended up being let go with a warning not to let him see us in that area again.WTF?The fucker just couldn't admit the stop was baseless.The funny thing is that I,the white dude,was a straight up junkie at the time and my friend,the black dude,was a fairly straight laced art student who is now a graphic designer.Crazy shit but I could spend all night writing about the fucked up shit the pigs in that city have done to me over the years but I'm on my phone at the moment.BTW,I feel it's worth mentioning that my friends step dad was a deputy sheriff in a neighboring city and he said that wasn't the first time shit like that happened to both of them.
