I've seen yields close to 1% using this tek, BTW
 
is this someway superior to making an ayahuasca brew? what if I don't want to mess with ANY chemistry whatsoever?
 
This is to make smokeable N,N-dmt freebase, quite different from oral ayahuasca with an MAOI. Decide what you're lookin' for :). BTW, as far as "chemistry" goes, if you can bake a cake, and even if you can't, you can probably pull some deems.
 
then you will have trouble either smoking dmt freebase, or taking pure dmt freebase + maoi

otherwise you can still access the oral dmt realm quite well.
 
yes, dmt extractions are nothing more than following a recipe.....that can potentially blind you.

and pants, and long sleeves.

Always practice patience! not only will it be less likely to mess up and spill shit on yourself, you will also be much happier with the result if you are patient...dmt does not like impatience at all.
 
yeah, one time i had a little vial of naptha and hydroxide and a liiiiitttlllle bit of dirty dmt that i was trying to clean up. i held the cap on with my thumb and shook it up, i had gloves on but the pressure built up and the thing poped.

20+ minutes of running water later i was still freaking out. you think cannabis gives you red eyes. my eyes were more red then the devils cock.

i didnt. i was lucky as fuck i got it all out. thank god i didnt have contacts in.

dont be stupid and youll be fine. but the chems you work with are dangerous and pure. its like an abnormality of nature for so many of the same molecules to be in such a high concentration in space at the time. fucking alchemy dood.

oh yeah and keep some distilled vinegar around, thats what i used whenever it got on my skin to save me from permanent scaring.

If you indeed "base the shit" out of the bark, doesn't that increase the chance of there being residual NaOH in the extracted crystals? Or do I just not understand chemistry at all? (A very real possibility.) Or is that what recrystallization is for? I've always understood the steps of the extraction, and that Lazy man's doesn't use a defat or freeze precip, but there has to be something that's overlooked to make the tek so simple...
 
NaOH is very insoluble in naphtha, but just in case there is some residual this is why people do the recrystallization and some people do ammonia or sodium carbonate washes.
 
i really doubt it would be in your final product and if it is it doesn't vaporize at the temperatures you could create with a lighter
