If you watch the landscape of drug community platforms especially on Reddit, there's been a disturbing trend of dozens of brand new throwaway accounts appearing daily in order to present misinformation with the illusion that the majority of the community shares the misinformation belief.
After some undercover snooping and baiting for the last month or two, I've realized that the accounts are typically programed ChatGPT or other AI programed bots attempting to convey a sense of widespread disappointment and distrust in the safety and quality of a certain drug. They're operated by Dark Net and Telegram market vendors (several of whom I am certain I have traced back to but am still on the lookout for evidence that can be demonstrated) who then show up to these communities sharing posts titled "Afrer Weeks of this N-isopropylbenzylamine and racemic Mexican bullshit I finally found the big bad cook who's selling the old stuff" with a picture of an implied pure and clean product (in the examples at the end they show images of what is clearly not methamphetamine and looks more like asbestos? A quartz or marble garden stone??? Which adds to my curiosity of wtf this is all about)
This new spin on old tricks guerilla marketing has been rampent in methamphetamine communities all over the internet for shit... two years at least (and the N-isopropylbenzylamine hoax also started as a cash grab gift almost 12 years ago)
Like N-isopropylbenzylamine my issue with these people is that the disinformation that they lean into so heavily includes actual dangerous lies about powerful drugs that can and actually has gotten people seriously hurt. One of these operations is the most bizarre shit I've ever seen from a "Cook13" which is a methamphetamine forum that appears to be one single person having fake conversations with themselves for hundreds of posts including ones where the user marked Admin an authority source says things like "Meth is a healing and life improving medicine it only harms if you're stupid." "Methamphetamine is not capable of causing acute fatal injury at any dose" "D-meth has no cardiovascular side effects" and implications that the documented data describing the ways meth induces neurotoxicity are a hoax. Oh an N-isopropylbenzylamine everywhere.

And here are a few sample posts of suspicious accounts and suspicious images on Reddit:
Anyways I bring it up one because it's no secret that I've hated these people's guts since I first began research for my book before I ever tried methamphetamine even. Spreading fake information intentionally to a group of individuals at risk of paranoia isolation and doubt on what to trust is fucking vile regardless of if the info is relevant to harm reduction. But they double down and also spread false information about "real old school dextromethamphetamine" having a flawless safety profile, being capable of safe and efficient use daily forever, and share fake or bunk steps in synthesis instructions to naive users wanting to learn, some of which would be potentially lethal or at least would draw police attention.
I mean, there's not much I can do now but maybe exposing the grift will eventually force them to back off until they find some other scumbag shit to try. They're just trying to foster a belief that all the meth in the world is fake except theirs, and their meth has only positive effects and is safer than weed.
Haven't seen this going on on Bluelight yet... but be wary I've definitely noticed that they're now starting to target opioid users and I have great skepticism on certain claims about heroins so called return. Be aware, and hopefully this helps keep them away from this community at least
[Crystal meth samples from law enforcement seizures in every country with a significant market and user population consistently tests as being composed of entirely the potent psychostimulant dextrorotary isomer (99% of crystal meth samples are purely d-meth in the last 4 years) and are between 90-95% purity with often 2-4% MSM present for its reported enhancement of the overall glossy and clear crystals
N-isopropylbenzylamine was never a meaningful chemical in meths history and was present in statically approximately zero meth samples globally. Racemic meth is as far as I can see never sold on the street (but a handful of times pure L-meth was funny enough)]
