PhrEakyKat..... I never really listen to any hardcore, maybe its because I have never had the chance to listen to good mixes, but Damn....

I really love your mix #9 and mix #10 that you have up. It just seems to be more than just bass pounding a nail through my skull, though its got its moments;)

I can't wait (like I have been saying constantly) to get to a computer where i can download and burn these mixes. You, as well as others, have mixes that are just so much better, IMO, then most mainstream dj's out there. Your guys track selections rock and the mixing is consistent and fun.

I am starting to remember why I use to love electronic music. Its been so long hearing anything Here in Milwaukee, WI that is even remotely good, (there are exceptions, I love the Almaria brothers...!)

Damn good mixing to all......

I have an ftp setup for dj's who want to promote their mixes. It is free to use and your mixes will get downloaded by listeners around the nation. The emphasis is on breaks, however, any "electronica" genre is accecpted. No hip-hop!!!

My one request is that your mixes are split already or if not include a tracklist and the split times, as in most people don't want mixes that are one big track.

Here's the info:

address: 68.114.98.50
port: 21
login: lcs
pass: lcs

There isn't much on there right now since I just put it up, so please be patient and enjoy :)

Hey everyone...I am a fledgling DJ with only about a year's real mixing experience under my belt. I've yet to spin at a party, but I threw this mix together at home back in June if anyone wants to check it out. It's in my AIM getfile...my screen name is dmb1046. Download all 11 tracks and burn them DAO. Feel free to IM me with any comments or critiques (no need to point out obvious shaky areas...;)). Thanks and enjoy!

BTW, it's mostly tech-house stuff. Lots of Yoshitoshi.

since i made "late nite groove" back in late spring, i decided to make a new mix CD.

the link will be good in about 1 hr when its done uploading.

Looking VERY forward to listening to 'em!

This was a set done for the hell of it on the main stage of a semi-mainstream night. VERY atypical for me, but like I said, it was for fun, and I had a pretty damn good time doing it (that may have had a lot to do with the hot ass dancers the club had on the stage though ) The set starts off with some nu skool breaks, does a little house, and finishes up with some pretty hard progressive.

The mp3 recorder kinda screwed up so hopefully I'll be able to fix the rest of the sets from that night and get them up. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to fix one of them, so look for a great electro set from Trevor Rockwell coming soon.

Enjoy!

ps, maybe....if you're really lucky, I'll put up a tracklist later.

Hey man, I checked out this mix 'cause I quite dig my hard and minimal, so I was really impressed by the track selection. Mixing was smooth, however my interest started waining a few times. If anything, it's not quite mixed fast enough or interestingly enough at times, and starts to get a bit samey. I understand this is the nature of minimal, but it can be pretty unaccessible for a lot of people.

Apart from that man, keep up the fkn good work, sounding really nice.

hey you djs could you please say what type of mix your posting incase some people (like me) dont know what type of mix it is just from tracklisting, thanks

here's a live, 2.5 hour set done by a friend and on saturday. i still haven't listened to it all the way through, but he did this in a 3 for 3 fashion, with him starting and me taking over second and so on. I can't give a full tracklisting because i dont know some of the tracks names he played, and can't even remember everything i played lol (i was kinda drunk). We mostly tried to keep it pretty housey and funky.

tracks i remember playing.

tori amos - professional widow (armand van helden rmx)
tim deluxe - it wont do
g thirteen - pure columbian
jungle brothers vs lee cabrera - shake the house
east coast boogiemen - marrying janie (smitty and davenport mix)
trisco - musak (wonderland ave. rmx)
cosmos - take me with you
wink - dont laugh (timo maas y2k rework 1)
feelgood - cut the lights out
the undecided - perhaps
robbie rivera - funkatron
angel alanis and rees urban - sexual soul
jay j and chris lum - freaks like us (mojolators mix)
audio bullys - turned away (grant nelson vocal mix)

Here's the link to a mix I made a few months ago.The link includes a tracklisting and bio of the demo.

The mix is split up into two parts ("It's taken from a mixed tape I made ;) "). The first half is 'Old Skool Hip-Hop' & second part is 'Funky Breaks'.

I also play many other styles eg: 'Old Skool Hardcore & Happyhard','Trance',etc,etc,etc.........................

The link is:-
