It was okay. Blacksploitation + film soundtrack + heavy gore, Dicaprio was good in it.

Basically this, with especial emphasis upon the latter item. Based solely upon the content of the trailers, I was so convinced that old Leo would ruin this one spectacularly that I have to give him more credit than is usual - I don't think I've ever seen him having this much fun in a motion picture. As is customary, though, Christoph Waltz stole the show.

[Also, whatever happened to polls?]

Me and my girlfriend just got back from watching Django Unchained. We both thought it was a really good QT movie. Great dialog, great sound track, great acting, lots of over the top blood splatter, plus a good amount of humor.

I saw it on Xmas, really liked it. I think it's QTs most brutal film to date. And Sam Jackson stole the show

Yeah Samuel Jackson was really good. But I though Jamie Foxx was the fucking man in that movie. He`s come a long way from that guy on "In Living Color".
Tarantino did a amazing job with this movie. He wrote awesome characters, gave them killer dialog and had great actors bring them to life. DiCaprio was an amazing villain, well spoken and totally cruel. Christoph Waltz was awesome as Doctor Schultz. Even Don Johnson had a good part.

awesome. fast brutal violence. killer tunes. good writing.

almost feel guilty for DLing the screener

Just saw the screener.
Although I missed out on lots of the detail with less pixels, I still found it to be a decent watch.

The only good part in the movie was the moment when Tarantino blew up. The shame is he's still alive. I can't stand his movies past Jackie Brown

think i'm going to see it with my coworker lamatra sometime soon. we're going to drive out to fayette county where it's only populated by black people and they get all rocky horror picture show with it. refused to go with PB, so he went to see it with someone else. what can i say? don't want to get filled with kill whitey blood lust and strangle him while he sleeps, or, be so offended that i can't stand the sight of him for days. going with lamatra to throw red slushies at the screen at appropriate moments seems like the safest bet, or not seeing it at all. depressing, because i was psyched as fuck to see this when i first heard about it.

Didn't enjoy IB at all, nor death proof. This had some minor downfalls, but on the whole it was a bucket of fun to watch, would watch again for the sheer enjoyment factor alone.

LOVED it. I think I enjoyed it more than Pulp fiction or Jackie Brown, (my personal QT faves) but it's probably just my love affair with Christopher Waltz, and he is amazing as always. Have a high quality screener watched a few times with family and its gets better each viewing.
