alright this may seem a little bit vague to some but i'm hoping i can find someone to relate to at least. i spent the last few months on a massive tolerance break from marijuana. in this absence of smoking i spent some serious time experimenting with lsd, dmt and mushrooms. recently, i have started smoking marijuana once again and am finding myself feeling very different. while on psychedelics, i feel incredible, in control and energized, whereas smoking weed sends me into bad moods where i get undesirably introspective, self-loathing and depressed.

what i'm basically wondering is if anybody has any idea what's going on here? marijuana used to be one of my great loves and now it just seems to make me feel sorry for myself. is there any way i can yield more positive results from getting high, obviously nothing close to that of lsd for example, but still something that will make me feel disconnected in a good way.

once again, sorry for the spacey language, i'm currently stoned. how do i enjoy the wonderful sensation of a marijuana high without the unnecessary inspections of my own mistakes and ego?
 
Maybe those inspections of mistakes and your ego aren't unnecessary... just saying.
 
use marijuana to celebrate and relax after a long tiring day, or just when you've been real busy (not with drugs either) and just need an evening to yourself to relax or something.

I personally found social smoking better than toking alone, i dont mean groups either just sharing your weed with a pal couple joints is much more fun, you have a little chat about stuff while your getting stoned and its much better than sitting alone and getting more and more depressed.
 
I'd say it's because, like you said, you no longer have a massive tolerance to cannabis. When you have basically no tolerance, smoke less, like really, really tiny amounts, start with something like 0.05g and see what happens. I know as little as 0.02g and be a good high if you have zero tolerance, a good vape and good weed. Other alternatives are to just suck it up and get your tolerance up by smoking through the unpleasant period (really don't recommend this though) or just quit altogether.
 
dont get your tolerance its stupid it just wastes your money trust,

just focus on using less and out of nowhere you will find your tolerance will increase as you enjoy it more
