Discussing drugs on the phone or by SMS

I just go with whatever the dealer is comfortable with. If they wanna use code, I'll use code. If they say, "Hey, I got 25 bottles of Adrenochrome to get rid of for $XX.XX, you want some? And tell all your friends and give them my number, 555-5555"... then I get a little paranoid and tell them they may want to change their tactics over the phone. But yeah, I'm a very tiny fish in this pond... perhaps thinking like that will get me in trouble? I don't know... No one has come kicking in my door yet, knock wood. :p If they do, it's my fault for being too nonchalant with things. :\
 
By phone or face to face is always better, never text, unless it's very short and to the point shit that only the parties involved could understand. As just typical users talking to other users or low level dealers, you can get away with being a lot looser with how you say things as your not on anybodies radar. But if you start dealing yourself, or are doing business with mid-high tier people where you could be at risk for a lot more than purchasing drugs for personal use, it's pretty imperative to meet face to face, and keep phone calls brief with evolving lingo. Paranoia is our friend. It keeps us out of prison. For a rule that you can't go wrong following, never send a text, say a sentence, that you wouldn't say with a cop standing right next to you. You follow that rule..you'll be fine.
 
we never even spoke around or near phones yet alone on them or with msgs. if i went to my mates place i had to leave my phone behind or in the car

its usually people that buy and not sell that winge about this problem. its funny how people that buy drugs seem to think they are doing their dealer a favour by buying from when in reality the dealer is doing you a favour...well thats how i see it anyway

+ the dealer is usually risking more than the buyer
 
^ User is doing a favour to dealer and dealer is doing favour to user. If only dealer was doing favour to you it would have to be for free.

Dealer is doing a favor to the buyer, always. Sometimes a small one, sometimes a big one, depending on how much risk they take on - but the dealer is always the one doing the favor.
Make no mistake - these brave men and women are risking their life and freedom so we can get high. Without them, we'd all be sober. And that'd suck!
 
However dealer clearly has advantage over user: he doesn't care whether he sells right now or 4 hours later. Whereas for an addict those 4 hours can be hell so dealer has power over user.

But what would a dealer do without users? I'm talking about the stereotypical "evil dealer" (sure not all of them are like that) who gets rich from selling.

But yeah, truth is those dealers from which we buy small amounts usually aren't very rich. The big ones won't sell you a gram or two, it's in kilos.. different kinds

You make it sound like dealers say in their heads "I want to make people happy, relieve them of pain.. I don't really care about the money!" Lol. They do it just for the money, I would have though nobody doubts about that. If they couldn't sell drugs, they would sell guns. Or risk their freedom in other ways.

^ Question is how will codes help you against police if you keep using them for years lol... asking a friend have you seen xy 76 times a year will be unbreakable code for sure.. :D

Hah, exactly. And cops aren't stupid..at least not all of them. If you keep using the same code words and lingo, they'll catch on and can actually use your system against you in a bust or in court. Once they associate the word with the illegal drug or activity, you mine as well be saying "heroin" or "cocaine" as clear as day, because they'll treat it as such. If you don't give them 100 examples to correlate one word to another, it'll be much harder for them to make a case against you and prove that what you said means what they think it does.
 
thats kinda why i use the names not codes really. its not terribly illegal to ask a friend if hes seen a friend, right?

I've always been very paranoid when texting anything about drugs but i'm in the minority around here. My text (to dealers who only deal cannabis) looks something like "you got anything?" and texts back are always "i've got x grams of purplesupercrossbreedhawaianbutfrombrazil kush its the best weed i've ever smoked". Leaves me feeling very sketchy.
 
Yeah I usually talk in some type of code when I'm texting or on the phone. I mean I don't even really think too much about it which I guess could be bad.... I have been like to some friends through text message like "what's up with the heroin" or "yeah I got you the dope." I've done that a couple of times but I try not to but I'm not really worried. I don't think the dea will be coming after me anytime soon.
 
I have never been the paranoid type. I have dealers for each type of drug I purchase, and i just text "can I get 100" or "can I get a half" etc. I once had a dealer that made me talk/text in code and it really pissed me off.
 
LOL again, people are way too paranoid about this shit.


If the cops want to take you in, trust me, the last thing they need is a text message to get you.


Sometimes I just talk in code for fun though, "You have any dandelions?" "whats up with those FUNGUyS?"

other times "I need a twenty dollar bag of marijuana from a cannabis plant delivered to my house so that I can partake in illegal activities" or "I WANT TO BUY SOME DRUGS"

Exactly....when brand name oxy's were around i would ask "do you want to go look at the OCean later, see the waves? Lets meet at 3rd street (quantity 3) at 2:40 (40 mg o.c.'s)......shit like that. I fucking hate when i get a new guy who is straight up like

"so how much METH do you want and how many ECSTASY TABS do you need?" I always hang up and maybe call later :/
