Opioids Dilaudid/hydromorphone MEGA THREAD and FAQ

Nope it isn't, unless we are speaking of a crushed 12(eh)-18-24-30 HM Contin beads crushed and eaten....but then you can just do so many things with it that it's like...anybody opposed to taking drugs the snorted way is gonna make addicts worldwide and even pain patients have a huge silent cry everytime someone eats a HM Contin.
The old dude with the very VERY messed up shoulders who was providing me with the dillies and HM Contin would eat 3 HM Contin 30mg a day with 4 or was it 6 4mg Dilaudid for breakthrough...then he was complaining of not getting much pain relief. But he's an old messed up head from doing way too much IV PCP and coke at once. I'm glad I don't have to deal with this guy anymore, he'd want us to use code words on the phone for business like this related to his official job, then he wouldn't get it half the time and i'd have to drive my ass to his place all the time. He is 50% of the reason why I went to MMT...fuck old people really, goddamn, lol.
 
Hey, I scored two P4s tonight and was wondering how long I should wait between shots to maximize my rush? I filtered my first with cotton (ran out of microns), banged it, and really want to make this last one count because I won't be getting any more of these babies for another week.
 
Does anyone else just not feel much euphoria from snorting dilaudid? You can definitely get a nod and a small opiate warmth, but I find it very sedating. If I smoke some bud, I am most definitely going to hydromorphone dreamland and having some wacky nod dreams which are cool, but was expecting more euphoria. I would say hydrocodone is more euphoric.

I disagree. Dilaudid can be more clinical but it's just more pure euphoria in my opinion (intranasally vs orally, I found orally useless).

My question for the thread relates to Dilaudid vs whatever the XR version is called, for the actual treatment of pain. I find hydromorphone taken intranasally as very effective for pain and not as upsetting for my stomach as hydrocodone, but it's pretty much useless if I just eat the pill (taken 8mg with zero tolerance and felt nothing). I would be getting these for PM treatment so I don't want to have to snort my pills to use them, but I do know the drug is effective at least, so is hydromorphoneContin (or whatever its called) any more effective orally than Dilaudid? I doubt my doctor will script me that, he probably doesn't know they exist, but I'm curious as there's really not a whole lot of options when you really get down to it...
 
I doubt an XR version is going to be more effective than IRs. At the end of the day it is still hydromorphone just being released slower. If it works for pain then it might be better for pain, but not for recreation. I find morphine XRs really good for pain, but they are worthless as far as recreation. I am surprised they do not get scripted over oxycodone honestly. It must be much worse WDs? I would just ask for roxicodone or percs.

To follow up with my last post - the first few times I snorted dilaudid i found it euphoric, but not really after that. I guess it could be tolerance. Maybe I just need to do more, but it seems to just make me very drowsy if I do more than maybe 12mg at once and it does not really increase euphoria. I do enjoy those morphine like dreams though while I nod. It just seems to be missing the euphoria I get with oxymorph, oxycodone, and even hydrocodone in higher doses.
 
Dilaudid/Hydromorphone.

For me the major draw back to dilaudid is the rate of consumption I can easily burn through 80mgs a day and everyone knows that dose can not feasibly be maintained. Now to me the rush from iv'd dilaudid is second to none as far as prescription opiates are concerned this of course is my personal opinion and I have never done opanas either so I can't make that comparison. The high is very very short lived it's possible to be nodding out in the morning and in withdrawals by sundown so in my opinion dillys are bittersweet at best.
 
I scraped the plastic clear and off pinkish coating off the white side of an exalgo , seeing how sticky my fingers were I can't imagine the harm once In bloodstream
 
I read someone around BL once say... "Dilaudid is like the Crack of opiates." (can't recall who said or from which thread)

but that basically nails it from my opinion..... So high, so fast, so short..
Then you just want more... :|
and the tolerance grows like a beast!!

I hate crack though, I'll stick to my relaxing hydromorph ;3
 
shooting Mallinckrodt dilaudid (hydromorphone) without micron filter (oh noez!)

I know that shoving anything in your veins not designed for that ROA. I also know that you should use a micron filter when prepping any pill. So please refrain from stating these facts. I said please! :)

When banging pills like Mallinckrodt dilaudids (hydromorphone) or other pills that have alot of powder and you don't want to IV a gallon of liquid here is a decent way to filter.

1. Besides your rig get a large 3cc 16 gauge syringe. Pull out plunger. If you go to a needle exchange program they will have these for steroids users.
2. Cut a cottonball in half and shove it in the chamber of thd 3cc syringe.
3. Get your pills and crush them ($3 pill crusher at CVS or Walgreen works amazingly well) and pour power in cooker (I use a medal measuring spoon).
4. Add about 80 units of cold sterile water mix. Pour mix in the 3 cc syringe chamber. Add plunger back and push your solution through the cotton catching the now clear liquid in another cooker.
5. Draw your prepped liquid in your rig and bang a bang bang.

When doing Mallinckrodt dilaudid a lot of filler will be left in your 3 cc syringe. Not to worry. The goods are in the water. If you eat the powder it be tasteless (no hydromorphone bitter)
 
Oxalgo 32mg's

Okay guy's, a buddy of mine has been using a slightly different method with these exalgo 32 mg's.

I was telling him that ER pills don't seem very safe with the whole gel mechanism, but shooters will be shooters.

His method is as follows:

>. Clean off white coating with liquid/spit and rag/papertowl/TP.
>. Split the two moons in half using a blade.
>. Discard grey side and keep white side(Med).
>. Leave clear plastic casing on the white half.
>. Fill spoon with water.
>. Bring water to a slight boil using lighter of choice.
>. Place white half in the hot water with the med side down and casing side up.
>. Stir using tweezers/blade/needle applying pressure onto the casing forcing the med to dissolve into liquid.
>. Repeat last three steps if desired for a stronger shot.
>. Suck up semi thick liquid using 1cc syringe.
>. Clean arm and pow.

Okay so my question is, is this a safe method for doing exalgo's? He tells me he gets around 6-8 good shots from this method.

Personally the thickness turns me off.. As well as the whole IV thing, but I want to show him some evidence for or against his method in order to help him and others alike.

Also could the clear casing melt down into the solution even though there is no direct heat?

He tells me that he also doesn't need to use a cotton filter because the white side is pure med. Is that true as well?

I know these are a lot of questions, but I have also read on another forum that some of the fillers in these can cause great harm. Here's the quote. "With intravenous abuse, the tablet excipients, especially polyethylene oxide, can be expected to result in necrosis and inflammation of cardiac tissues."
That sounds really bad. Anyone know if this is only in the dark side?

If anyone could give me some clear advice and answers to these questions to help my friend, it would be greatly appreciated as I am very concerned for his health.

That's true, but that's not what's funny.

Fuckin Dillies, the rush is what ruined my wallet and dignity enough for me to get on ORT, close to 2 years tomorrow now, wow in fact tomorrow will be 2 years of methadone/suboxone treatment. 2 months since I stopped burning another hole in my wallet, cigarettes, now I just vape with an e-cig using juice I get as gifts everytime I order rc's somewhere, Canada makes it difficult to get real e-liquid with nicotine, disposable e-cigs with nicotine are illegal to be sold at our equivalent of 7-11's, which is bullshit but with the current Health minister (who's leaving her post soon, goodbye Rona Ambrose, so sick of you you unelected cunt, unelected ministers should be illegal, hope the next one is like the previous one, who's allowed generic oxycontins because she was following the law, nevermind the hysterics of the Ontario prime minister who I blame partially for me touching the needle, couldn't get oxycontin and for some reason my guy stopped having Oxy IR's were never removed from the market) not e-liquid inside disposables or have e-cig physical stores have to not show e-liquid and have to ask for it so they get from under the counter somewhere.

At least since they asked cig packs to be put inside drawers, the temptation to smoke actual cigs is very weak (my body is getting used to not having of of the antidepressants found in cig smoke, I think it's harmine or harmaline or something related to those MAOI's. And I can run my bike really fast now too, lol.

Get some kidney stones! That's how I got a shot every 2 hours for 24 hours because they saw something weird on my liver after a CT scan of my abdomen, which turned out to be nothing when they re-did it, 12 hours later with iodine that time. Good luck! (or jump in front of a car).
 
You are right to be concerned about the viscous material your friend is infusing. He is injecting a solution of water and a water soluble (hydrophilic) polymer known as polyethylene glycol. There is also a purely evil ingredient intended to dissuade illicit use by causing death (logic? drug OD can lead to death, so prevent that by putting a deliberately nasty excipient in to induce death...?...I digress). The ingredient is polyethylene oxide. Neither of the poly's are simply going to dissipate, in fact the Exalgo® PI specifically warns as follows concerning the oxide:

"With intravenous abuse, the tablet excipients, especially polyethylene oxide, can be expected to result in necrosis and inflammation of cardiac tissues."

Either way, extended release formulations of most drugs, including the new OxyContin (which uses 4 separate techniques to increase the difficulty, two are physical, one is mechanical, and one is a proprietary chemical composite that makes the chemist in me laugh as I have seen this molecule and well, good luck...). Stick to the small form IR Hydromorphone HCl tablets.

So I just got done reading through the Hydromorphone Thread in greater detail and the one question I have--because it pertains to my situation as well--is the number of persons who have posted that they IV Dilaudid, and often great quantities due to the quick tolerance, short rush, etc., Many are going to physicians for this medication, (I get my Dilaudid via a legal script...4mg 3x a day...so comparatively I am only on a paltry amount. My question is, how often does your physician check your arms, or other prime locations? I have light scars in only a couple spots and never undress, but people on huge doses...I am concerned about that fateful encounter... How have you handled it? Just curious...
