The next thing I'm going to do is to move to UK. ;)

I'm finding it really hard to believe that those DHC tablets in your gallery are actually OTC product. Are you 100% sure about that? Tablets containing 30 mg DHC and 30 tablets in a package. That's a huge amount of DHC in an OTC procuct. I bet that's the most abused OTC product in UK (if it actually is an OTC product as claimed). 8)

I don't have any codeine or DHC in my gallery. The J.Collis Brownes Mixture is OTC morphine.
 
The most DHC you get in an OTC medicine in the UK is 10mg/tablet, but most are about 8mg/tablet. It generally requires a CWE to get a safe dose as it is always combined with paracetamol. Saying that though, it's possible to buy a shitload of DHC by visiting several pharmacies in the same day.

As for the most abused, it used to be either Gee's Linctus or J. Collis Brownes mixture as they both contain tincture of opium fortified with extra morphine (pharmacists are very wary of selling it to anyone young these days!). Technically, anything under 5mg of morphine/5ml (ie 1mg/ml) is suitable for OTC sales in a pharmacy & even prescription linctuses don't become controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act until they exceed 13mg/5ml

Well i dont know any DHC products, but i do know codeine mixed with ethylmorphine are called Tussipax, which are the most well known.

Tussipax pills (each pill contain 10mg Codeine + 10mg Ethylmorphine (More itchy/warmer), and no other active substance like APAP).
Each box of Tussipax contains 15 pills

Then there are the tinctures you can get with a little bit of morphine in them, i think 20 MG in total is in the J collins Brown mixture if you drink it all. I think its 5 ML equals 1 MG morphine, and its a 100 ML bottle.

codeine is methyl morphine , ethylmorphine is almost the same , bit more itc hy and stronger


i always thought they only sold it in france

Oh yeah! Them DHC aren't OTC, they're prescribed! They weren't mine, I just put them in the pic'! :)

But you can get something 8.something mg of DHC OTC here in he UK! :)
 
What are the tinctures in the UK with morphine in them and are they available in most pharmacies? Do you have to ask for them specially?

One of them is called J Collin Browne mixture and i hear its the best, but their are many others to choose from.

You have to ask the pharmacist for them personally though, behind the counter. But they are still OTC.
 
What and you can just drink it straight out the bottle, nothing else that might damage you in there?
 
The strongest codeine you can get in the UK is 12.8mg (6.4mg DHC) with ?300mg ibuprofen or 500mg of APAP. I have a box of the pictured DHC and it's damn good stuff. Awesome for painkilling and 200mg got my nodding really well.
 
Don't forget you can get 8mg DHC/500gAPAP (Panadol) too.

My pick of the bunch for pain-relief and sleep are...

8mg Codeine/Muscle-Relaxant/450mg APAP (Syndol)

I even feel relaxed off 2 of those if I'm chilling on a night and I used to take 240mg DHC a day. :\

Why would you like syndol more then Panadol? Panadol has almost twice as much codeine and only 50 MG more APAP. Why dont you choose that over syndol.
 
The Syndol are more relaxing and closer to an opiate buzz without having to do a CWE. I've had my time with minor opiates but don't mind occaisional use to chill out. Codiene and DHC feel pretty different, DHC is more sedating and more body-numbing. Codeine is more stimulating and warm.
 
The syndol tablets contain 5mg of Doxylamine Succinate (antihistimine) and 30mg of caffeine so if you want to take more than a couple then they're useless as a CWE will leave those active ingredients. If you can find generic pharmacy pills then they're much cheaper for CWEs as the panadol is extremely expensive.
