Heroin Did I get UK brown dope??

you can sniff UK heroin, it's how i was started. and presumably italian heroin (don't know if that's base or not) as the girl who started me was italian and only ever snorted.

doesn't do much for me anymore tho.

Yeah but even the dope is brown. Not just some of it.

Cornishman, the reason your base lets off a color in the water isn't actually because the base is soluble, it's because the color that comes through from the processing are pigments called tannins. Tannins actually exist in the acidic state in nature, so it's Tannic acid, and we know from our knowledge that acidic things are water soluble (think #4 HCl) so that part would actually dissolve giving you the color.
Also, I call the brown base #2, as you're right #3 is just #4 made conducive for smoking. Look up eutectic mixture on wikipedia and it explains why (it actually just lowers the melting point below the combustion point, so in the end it vaporizes faster so it doesn't burn.) People call it #3 because they say #2= morphine base ===> heroin base. So they say, number two starts off as morphine base, therefore it isn't heroin base. So you see where that argument comes from.
We know that bases can still pass mucus membranes, just not very well (think sublingual benzos). While you're right, soluble things pass through very easily.
I would have to agree with Tommy when he says that it was probably some highly cut product that 80mg had and was probably just not washed up that well, so that gave it the brown color with those tannins staining it. Caffeine is a pretty common cut these days in just about everything so that very well could have been in the #4. Just since it was used as a cut doesn't necessarily mean it was #3.

Hopefully some of that info will be useful and is easy to understand. But yeah, check out the eutectic mixture thing and that explains why true #3 is made with caffeine.

Well I ived it and got VERY high. Now a second time. I just bought 3 mroe bags...did em at once (I don't recommend...a easy way to overdose but I just don't care about my life...) and I am VERY pleased.

Also...uk users...do you noticel ike ALOT of bubbles? Like alooot of tiny lil bubbles when you suck it up? :?
 
well did it mostly dissolve?

i think the bubbles would be more to do with what you are using as a filter.

I don't get what you mean here. When heroin is cut (at least when done properly) it's not like you can tell the difference between the cut and the heroin. Pure heroin hcl is white, but it's not like you can tell the part of the powder that is the dope and the part that is the cut since it is mixed very well.

You should have posted the actual picture since you got more instead of posting pictures that were already on the net and saying "this is what it looked like."

Really because in my opinion this is substance ID. You're asking if what you got was a specific kind of heroin, which leads nowhere but speculation, and even if we did allow this discussion, posting generic pictures of heroin isn't going to do much to help people identify the heroin that you have. I'm guessing that whoever stepped on your shit didn't do a good job, if you're questioning if what you got was even #4.
