100mg diazepam alone is a pretty hefty dose. I have an alprazolam scrip and if I remember my benzo equivalence correctly, 1 mg alprazolam = 10mg diazepam, so that would be like me taking 5 bars - not to even mention the others. I'm decently benzo tolerant and 4mg alprazolam would be my limit of what I could take and still be capable of giving a coherent speech. Maybe 50mg diazepam since it's slower acting.
The only circumstances under which I'd take the drug combo you just listed is if I was at home and severely bored/angsty and would want to get fucked up and then go to sleep. I don't mean to sound like I'm lecturing you because I've done more dangerous combos than that, but why did you even think you needed the other two drugs when you had a benzo? How benzo tolerant are you anyway?
Next time, try taking the diazepam four hours before speaking.
It's not really "so much for beta blockers", it's a matter of a person realizing they're speaking in public and too stoned to do it properly. That can make anyone nervous and while the drugs you took help you relax, none of them will do shit to help you focus.
If I were in your place I'd honestly rather have a stimulant before the speech, for confidence and focus, and take the benzo when I was home after to come down nicely.
