Television Dexter

i read the first three dexter novels. the first one, in story really close to season 1 was actually pretty entertaining, while the third one was absolutely atrocious. how i finished that pile of shit is in retrospect beyond me. but i did watch season 5 & 6 of dexter so apparently my threshold for shit is pretty high.

also i agree that this season has been pretty fuckin' good so far.

I take it u don't recommend reading the books?.. I tried think I got thru the 1st one, which I found kind of boring..
Last season was kinda lame imo, but I like this year so far.
 
I listened to the audio books, and they weren't so bad.
A lot of things in the books that the TV writers have changed. (Major character changes and attitudes).

It's worth a listen though.

the first one isn't bad, the second one is mediocre and the third one is just godawful. i'd say read some james ellroy or jim thompson instead. yeah, read pop. 1280 by jim thompson. now that is an awesome book. i'm sure you'd like it.

The great thing about Florida cars is that the speed trap cameras in other states take a picture of the front of your car. Let freedom ring.
 
Ill take ur advice on that;). I honestly haven't read a book in months, with winter fast approaching it'll be a good hobby.

what bothered me about it was i liked dexter best when he had no serious attachments and i don't like him when he's being sweet.

anyway, predicted and am glad about the new partner in crime/fucking, i wonder how long until he kills her.
 
Blonde won't last long @ all. Kind of obvious,imo, but they'll string along killing her off for sure..
 
This season is getting better each episode, I love the run-ins with Isaac and Dex haha. This next ep looks great! :)

Because it's evolutionarily maladaptive. Too much inbreeding, and you'll end up with something that's better off dead.

They've actually done studies that show that too much familiarity with anyone you grow up with will reduce your sexual attraction to them, even if you're not biologically related.

RE Dexter:
Last episode was great; agreed that the interplay between Dexter and Isaac is riveting. A friend of mine pointed out that Isaac is the first enemy Dex has come up against who isn't in fact batshit crazy. Hell-bent on revenge, sure, but not insane by any means.
 
I really like this season .. it's a little bizarre what is happening between Dexter and Isaac.
I must say Deb must be getting hotter, and her FUCK rages are epic .. She has the best Pouty face
 
I think Deb looks like somebody tried to cook her this season. Previous seasons she's had a very nice, slightly tanned complexion. This season she's consistently the color of a radish.
 
really, really enjoying this season so far, which i didn't expect after season 6 which was pure shit. i was sad to see isaac go, i always enjoy seeing ray stephenson. i wonder how they're gonna write hannah out since she's obviously a guest star. maybe she'll fuck off to her homeplanet like lumen did.
 
The worst episode this season has been better than the best ones of the past two seasons; Isaac was great, and even Hannah is growing on me. Can't believe there are only three eps left.
