Hahaha, I just finished it. I'm pretty shocked that it was for realz this time instead of whatever happened last time (I watched it while high so I don't recall exactly what happened last time). This whole season was pretty awesome. Cannot wait for next. :D
 
Geek points: Miami won't have a solar eclipse until August 12, 2045. ;)

Still, this has been a great season, despite my initial skepticism; looks like the series has quite a bit of life left in it.
 
I really enjoyed this season, poor Deb falls in love for yet another serial killer, it's going to be interesting were this leads too .
 
I am in a rage. I've been watching this with my family for the first time and we are throwing shit at the TV. All the "Cubans" on the show are Puerto Ricans or indians!!! What the fuck?

It's like if I made a show that takes place in Mexico and casted all Korean actors.

They don't even attempt to sound Cuban.

We are not latinos god damnit. We are Cuban.
 
I wish I had started watching this AFTER I dropped out of school and quit my job.

I didn't know you could evolve without variation. And exactly how different is one season from another? Hell, even some of the characters are recycled: Doakes dies so that Quinn may live and essentially provide Dexter with the same conflict.

Why do you watch this show? It isn't a homework assignment. The best part about this series, is alluding to what you speak about, but then always ends up suprising as hell at the end. It's a great bait and hook.
 
I love Dexter! It's one of my favourite shows. The script can be really funny (although getting a teeny bit recycled now I guess). I was really upset when they killed off Doakes in the second season, he was good value, Quinn is just annoying really.

Can't wait for the next season.
 
Most of you seem to consistantly underestimate the power of creative. They are doing all this on purpose, and you will continue to watch the show, and if you don't, I will.
