Describe a Bluelighter you have met recently.

i met wazza very briefly last saturday. dont think he'll remember me tho. mind u, i was so tired and i looked like shit.
hehe, he was wearing a flanny, and older than i thought. but i cant make any decisions about what hes really like cos we both werent in the right state of mind. meh.

^^ heheh *GRIN* I was wearing flanny PJs! I semi remember you as I was woken up in a daze to say hi :P I did tell Emma that Sllip has a pretty girlfriend, so I guess that's a compliment :) I'll make sure I'm not asleep a minute before I meet you next time :)

Doofster: That's so sweet hon! Right back at ya! I have to say that our last meeting at Parthinium blew me away. I haven't seen someone with so much natural energy in a long time - but then it was a doof i guess. :) Imagine you already knowing the boy-o - strange the way things work out hey? :) Still waiting to meet the famous Jesse though. :)

As for the Bler i have met recently... Whiteboy and Soularis come to mind as very cool and energetic guys. Fully of enthusisam and good conversation. Nothinglike their friend Backo however... ;) (j/k)

I met hardicus for the first time... man is he one messed up little boy. He kept trying to jump me even though i made it quite clear i had a girlfriend. Then he couldn't score any meth so he was snorting all kinds of other weird shit like salt and pepper. Then he ran riot at hard kandy shouting something about the apocylpse of hard kandy ravers.

never again.
 
aww, i wanted to meet miss strawberry when i was in melbs but alas to no avail... :( oh well... theres always next time, or she could always come to sydney ;)

a very tall, extremely cute lefty arts student who has a big heart, and willing to give anyone a 'chance' as a friend (even bitchy glams who are boring tee hee) but FUN is def. a word i would use to describe him :)

I think that her personality was pretty similar to that which I had imagined. She did look completely different to how I imagined though. It was very sweet of her to introduce me to Jakoz the way she did, it was like she thought people HAD to meet the guy (I can see why). A smiling face is always welcome in my world and she's certainly got one :) a fun and bubbly character that has time and kind words for all.........lovely to meet you

aw =D:) thanks...ah, i wanna say how cool you are now, but i think it would just sound lame...but ya definitely are, and you're not at all bitchy or boring...i reckon you've still gotta bit of glam in you though ;)

now, from the meet-up...well, these are the guys that i spent most of my time talking with, so i thought i'd give the run down ;)

raz: like he said of me, *he* was quieter than expected. though, i put this down to the fact that (all you cliquey motherfuckers ;)) already knew each other...so we were just kinda left trying to fit in. however, he was just as nice as i'd expected (we've had some fair post-whoring sessions together in the lounge), and i wish him the best of luck for his travelling. seriously, top guy who i bet has a ton of friends.

smokin' joe: heh :) probably the opposite of me - i'm totally laid back, very casual, don't really do much of anything, whereas this guy's very up-and-going and chatty, but luckily enough great to talk to. struck me as a real people person, basically because he was fun to talk to! probably a cool guy for a night out clubbing with too!

wazza: ok, waz is crazy. that's crazy-good though, not crazy-bad. it's weird...after reading his messages here, and having chatted on irc a bit, i should have *expected* him to be crazy, but he was still surprisingly mad. didn't really get a chance to have a proper chat to him, but i'd like to one day...sure he has a lot of interesting things to say.

de spook: just thought i'd mention him because he just struck me as a real nice guy. funnily enough, he turned up at the meet-up despite not being able to attend it at his own place because he was busy ;) seriously, actually seemed nice and laid back, and he gets kudos for setting up a dance club at melbourne uni!
 
I met Wazza once too.

I had just got a drink from the bar and returned to this crazy man talking 300 km/h trying to chat up my girlfriend!

I mentioned that I recognised him as a bluelighter and introduced myself. He then proceeded to chew my ear off!!

Nice guy though.. :D

I get a lot of strange looks whenever I ask someone if they are a bluelighter, although the only one I have ever met, (to my knowledge) was candyflip. After getting my pic taken at a few parties I struck up a conversation with him and he really seemed like a nice guy. Funny, intelligent, and pretty friendly.
