Word son! I'm all about this sound- ish and the derivatives of...at the moment!

Bombo stepping up with the hot links again. Thanks brother.

:)

Seven Lions is good

this is the type of dubstep i love to play...at outdoors (multi-day events that dont quite qualify as either raves or festivals....dont know what everyone else calls them, but here in NM they are just "outdoors") I usually end up getting booked for sunrise sets, because people know me as the deep dub guy...and I don't mind one bit :) sure its nice to be able to switch it up once in a while, because its not my true music passion, but I also don't mind being recognized as someone who plays something different and necessary for a good show...i always have people coming up to me after my sets and thanking me for bringing them into the morning

EDIT: i know we arent really supposed to post mixes in here, but i dont feel like going and finding links for all these songs, so....here you go

promo mix for our two year anniversary...morning style dubs

To me this is dubstep. The harsher brostep just seems to lack the whole DUB influence that's part of DUBstep. I guess I just don’t understand why it shares the same name, it would be like me calling heavy metal Reggaestep. Or calling rap Rockstep.

Thanks for posting all of these!

Oxygen by Ruckspin & Planas (can't find a version on the web that sounds even halfway decent)

Since when was this 'deep' dupstep? This is what dubstep was and is, none of that other shit.

I've seen a lot of these artists at a shitty little club where I live, Kryptic Minds and Mala (as digital mystikz with coki) being particularly good. I also liked some of Icicles more dnb stuff. Kromestar and Sukh Knight were both excellent, but I haven't enjoyed as much listening on youtube.. they were great live though!

I added the word deep because there are already "dubstep" threads on here and are all full of "brostep." I know this is how dubstep truly is and should always be like this but it's only used to differentiate between the two. If I would have just put dubstep, then they would have merged this thread with the other.

Don't worry, I wasn't having a go, was just surprised by the naming that's all :)
