The point is that when State Institutions have killed its people including it own citizens it treats the reputation of same institutions as more important than the life's of the victims, De menizes, Tomlinison, Bloody Sunday etc, this devalues life.
 
Did anyone see the ITV news earlier today? the pork made a statement about the raoul moat incident, with that chumpish looking copper brass woman in the middle of another cop either side, she grins like a drunken schoolgirl when the other cop calls moat a 'nutcase' and looks like her head keeps falling downwards and jerking back up abruptly.

Looks a LOT like she is nodding on something.

The editor of the Sun needs to be hanged for the headlines lately, today they had something like "NO ONE IS SAFE NOW" on the front in huge letters. This is just giving the cunt what he wants and further boosting his warped ego, thereby making him more determined to carry on with his insanity. There was a great opinion piece in the times the other day about how the media have such a part to play with the soulless, sensationalist way they report these things. There should be laws against it.

British police media have done very poorly. Media response sure to encourage similar roid rage rampages and more worringly the piss poor police effort sure to encourage terrorists to do same.

I suppose it is pointless to expect the British Police to use its power responsibly when it cannot use its power effectively.

I was reading too how killing sprees and the like very often happen in clusters, largely down to the merciless reporting of every single detail.
