Ok chek this!
this is my latest setup scheme kinda thing:
Ok if i get the money soon enough, (which definately wont happen), I'll be able to pull a Korg Prophecy (those sexy sexy sleek silver bitches) for around $1500.
Then what i wanna do is fuk my controller keyboard off (anyone want it? EC condition) and replace it with the prophecy as the controller. And then i wanna get a phatboy and hook it to the prophecy for major knobbage!!!. Mad controller huh?

and id use it as my bass synth cus its only monophonic i think, better go and chek...

Thats great! I just thought it was impossible!
Do you think its worth bringing a computer to play live and connect it up to a 505 on part 7??
Given the ammount of stuff that has to be taken, and the weight of it all, it seems quite a lot.

Lep: Just a Comp. and a 505 ain't too much for a live set, try lugging around a heavy- ass Jupiter 8 and a split 8 and an mc-303 and an R8 and a mixer and a computer!
Ok, so when i start playing live I'll prolly have to streamline, but that's still a while off...

Um...lep: it really depends on how committed u are to sounding good. While i won't usually cart my computer out...for the bigger parties i do..because I know it enhances my set, and I'll do it. And on that note, try lugging around a mixer, keyboard, stand, 505, efx unit, heaps of cables, and a computer. It's a bit of a cunt. But its worth it for the rush of playing in front of a crowd who appreciate ur sounds. hmm...I think i mite scare some cunts off on friday with my latest shit. Its fucking evil. bwaHAHAHA

I want a quiklok too
frown.gif

a big one that is collapsable and can fit heaps of gear but so it doesnt collapse when theres heaps of gear on it.
O.K. From now on whenever a melbourne trading post falls into my hands i will post up a list of gear thats for sale with prices and contact numbers plus anyother information and maybe liks on the net so that u can see what it is (thats if i can be fuked ofcourse)
heres todays update....
1) - novation supernova $2450.00 bux, phone = 0407 551110

Whos up for a massive meetup where we bring all our gear, hook it all up and have the ultimate mutha of a rig
smile.gif

Then all of us can produce a track togeather after we have heaps of disputes on what the track's gonna be like.
wink.gif

And in the end we can post it in mp3 format on bluelight for everyone to drool over.

Ken Oath! I'll be up for that!
We'll havta find a place to do it tho, somewhere without noise restrictions
smile.gif

Oh and a good power supply, lots a power points... and a few days would be good too
smile.gif

SHIT YE!!!!
Plus, I am getting the latest version of Cakewalk, Fruity Loops ts404 pro!
smile.gif
And a bunch of other goodies!!!!!!!
smile.gif

I agree peeps! A meetup is definetly in order!
smile.gif
It could be my place, but we would have to wait until after Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 5000 in bank account! NOVA or TRIP to europe!!! Decisions Decisions! ARG!!!!!!!!!

Ohh, let me think for you....
um...trip? I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!
i'd get the nova and sum spare midi cables (teehee hee)
Na but seriously, think of the long term effects of what u spend your money on,
europe = cool holiday bla bla spend heaps of money and its all over in a few days
nova = cool, nuff said
Oh, meetup will definately be hapening after christmass, i think my place will be free as well after christmass (note, why do i spell christmass with a double ss?)
Heh heh, i can picture a 3 day camp/stake out tryin to pump out a track or series of trax while bouncin ideas off each other etc. And not leavin the designated house for the duration of the 3 days untill we all finish at least one track or knock each other out or die from hunger due to lack of food consumption.

Well, thats the three of us, anyone else???
Anyone have a place we could all get together? An empty house would be preferable!
Hehehehe! I need a garage I can setup and move all my music stuff into!
smile.gif

$5000 .... *drools*
My current funds amount to somewhere around $500 so I'm extremely jealous :O
Umm, go the Nova!
wink.gif

I don't think my place would be good 'cos it was hardly big enough for 2 of us when me and my friend got together...
Like the track btw KompleX, smooth, loved that synth too... dammit I want reverb and delay!!! unfortunately might have to wait till next month for an efx unit 'cos a few bill came in, more than expected
frown.gif
Time to stuff around with some VST plugins i think...

Thanx Tars,
Um ok, We might be able to have the meetup at my place after christmass but thats only a 50/50 kinda thing.
And if we cant, were gonna have to hire a hotel room, and make everyone leave the hotel so that they cant complain about the xcesive noise, i mean music.

smile.gif

And where were you mister Leprachaun.. (fuk how do u spell it?
smile.gif
)
Yeah that was mad, bit of variety in serotones set went down well
smile.gif
missed the last 20 minutes cus it took a while to get down the stairs with 8-bits gear. Freakin elevator
frown.gif

The guy straight after Serotone went off as well. He kept getting more and more intense,
jackin off on the 303 and that
smile.gif

When's the next one???????????????????????????????????????

Its my duty to please you're booty

*drools over lovely pic*
Hey guys, guess what I just remembered... my parents are going away for about 6 weeks, leaving on the 21st of December, so I've got a whole house to use! Its about a 30-45 min drive from the city, and there'll be enough space... and the neighbours can go jump in the Dandy creek if they don't like the music
wink.gif

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with tomato sauce.

Only prob's Tarsarlan is will you car be able to ship my rig around this time??? Last time you car looked like it had a couple of dead bodies in the trunk and it just about didn't make it up some hills... hehehe ;-)

Ok... Ok... enough ribbin' "the Lion, the Witch and the Tarsarlan" for me...
I've got a modest setup of the following:
MC-303 (Sorry I convinced you to buy one to Tarsarlan)
Poly-800 (little piece of SH$T)
Roland MKS-7 (2x Juno 106 (with velocity), Monophonic bassline thingy (like a cut down 106) and a TR707 in the one box (A$200))
Yamaha TX16W
QuadraVerb GT
EuroCrap opps. EuroRack 2004 (ok...ok it's better than having a 12 line roland "No Slider" mixer like someone else I know... ;-) T.)
Juno 106 - My first and only analog love!!!(well for now...)
JX-8P - Tarsarlan's house will never recover from the patch I made on this baby call Sub Bass - for obvious reasons.
That's about it... for now.

Oooh, has Tars got a line mixer?
smile.gif

Still probly beats my gemini in reliabilty (yes yes fuxn geminis)
It would probly be good if i could get my hands on a midi thru box with heaps of outputs if were gonna be conecting heaps of shit togeather.
Unless we'd wanna chain the whole thing but then it might get a bit of latency.
