Thanks for this Felix.
Was looking for a recent live set ;)

PS - tracklisting looks very simillar to the set they played at O2 (London) the other week.

I've been warned that some of these sets are likely to be copyrighted- therefore the deletion-willow11

Daft Club is an album by Daft Punk featuring numerous remixes of tracks from their 2001 album Discovery and one from Homework. It was released in 2003 (2004 in the U.S.). The name of the album comes from Daft Punk's online music service, which featured remixed songs, a live recording of Daft Punk performing at the Que Club (which would later be released as Alive 1997), and an acapella and instrumental version of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger." The Daft Club service ended in January 2003.

Tracklisting:

1. "Ouverture"
2. "Aerodynamic" (Daft Punk Remix)
3. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" (The Neptunes Remix)
4. "Face to Face" (Cosmo Vitelli Remix)
5. "Phoenix" (Basement Jaxx Remix)
6. "Digital Love" (Boris Dlugosch[1] Remix)
7. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" (Jess & Crabbe Remix)
8. "Face to Face" (Demon Remix)
9. "Crescendolls" (Laidback Luke Remix)
10. "Aerodynamic" (Slum Village Remix)
11. "Too Long" (Gonzales Version)
12. "Aerodynamite"
13. "One More Time" (Romanthony's Unplugged)
14. "Something About Us (Love Theme From Interstella 5555)"

I didn't know anything about it until I was having a trawl through ebay for DP stuff. So I snapped it up for about 5GBP (2.50USD?). Looks awesome, right?

IT'S RUBBISH :X :(

Seriously... I'll give it another couple of goes, but... ughhhh, I'm not looking forward to it. Plinky-plonky jazz cafe twiddly slow non-banging annoying nonsense. One or two tracks may have some potential, we'll see.

(Thank fuck it was only a fiver, hehe :D)

Anyone else got it?

I'm listening to it right now, Most of its quite crap, but i do like:

- 1. "Ouverture"
- 2. "Aerodynamic" (Daft Punk Remix)
- 3. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" (The Neptunes Remix)
- 4. "Face to Face" (Cosmo Vitelli Remix)
- 6. "Digital Love" (Boris Dlugosch[1] Remix)

I dont know if i would say all of these are good, but i like them for different reasons. Ouverture was nice on shrooms, I like N.E.R.D. and so the Neptunes mix is fun, Digital Love cuz its just real interesting..esp the electric guitar and that... I think the album is way more chilled than the other Daftpunk stuff, so on shrooms this album was alright. But seriously the Face to Face voice pisses me off all the time, too popy.

there's a few more linked from that one. woo hoo!

fuckin nice one!

im going to their show in seattle at the end of the month... cant wait... more so now

thx

I just started listening to daft punk, been playing one mroe time, harder strong... all the ones with anime videos to them. Fucking love it, makes me want to revisit some molly and throw a party!

well, do they ever tour the US? I would love to be at one of there shows with some mind candy.

i only ever liked the first album of Daft Punk, everything else seemed like nothing special. just like the chemical brothers' latest outputs, it sounds like a pile of commercial run-of-the-mill stuff.... taxable consumables and without any substance, and perfectly predictable.

Discovery is the only album from Daft Punk that I've found to truly be a masterpiece. There other works, while some tracks are OK, I consider for the most part to be really mundane. I absolutely love discovery though!

Also, I know there are tons of Daft punk remixes floating around on the web right now, and most of them suck, but I found an awesome one. The electro house DJ DeadMau5, whom you might know, remixed harder better faster stronger. Get on google and search for 'DeadMau5 Harder Better Faster Stronger' and there should be some useful links...

a couple of my friends just got back from seeing them at Red Rocks in Denver. of course it was amazing, they tell me

darn lack of money =(

I'm currently listening to Human After All.

And my opinion of it has changed.

I'm doing a lot of reading, so the repetitiveness doesn't seem to bother me, in fact it's quite welcome on a night like this.
