i was at that show and it was incredible - especially as i got to see madonna on the same bill
i saw daft punk at the greek theatre in berkeley a few months later and it was pretty much the same set but, for now, it never gets old

im still kicking myself for not going to this one
i was there front and center. definitely the best show i've ever been to
mind you not the strongest musically but the entire package was A++++++++
I'm not really a Daft Punk fan (with the exception of a few tracks), but I went to see them in Melbourne in late '07. They played the main stage of the Myer Music Bowl, which has the best soundsystem I have ever heard (insane amounts of bass, yet perfect clarity). The show was good, and all the kids were going crazy, but the whole time I was just thinking 'If Daft Punk make you dance like that, jut wait 'til Underworld play here - when Cowgirl kicks in you'll seriously lose your shit!'.
Well.....a year later I got my wish - Underworld did indeed play in that exact same arena. That was the best show I have ever been to.
So.......the moral of the story is...........if you get the chance to see Underworld, don't miss 'em!

^ I saw Daft Punk in Sydney that same year, it was great, I loved and do love Daft Punk, and the crowd really got into it.
I saw Underworld on NYE around 7 months ago here in Sydney. Underworld were great, I loved and do love Underworld, but the crowd did not get into it at all. It was apparent that only a minority of the crowd knew Underworld at all beyond Born Slippy (which everyone did go crazy for at midnight - that was fun), but yea, I do hope they play to a more receptive crowd next time I see Underworld.

They've been rumored to be making a new album as a response to the exposure of their world tour... then it was also rumored that they'll tour with that album...
really great experience... great show, really changed how dj'n in a staduim became a spectical and not just a musical experience... i think it is great... and there tour will change stadium shows for the rest of EDM history.
