I do not have hair loss but am always looking for something in advance in case I'd need to supplement with something for it. I have read that both these sulfur amino acids: cysteine and methionine are great for hair growth. I noticed with methionine but since I haven't tried cysteine yet I'm curious since I've read that hair is 8% cysteine. Now, which version of cysteine should I try? I've seen L-cysteine HCL: monohydrate vs. anhydrous. Monohydrate being 3x more expensive. What's the story on monohydrate vs. anhydrous?
