They're best known for the song There She Goes which was covered by Sixpence None The Richer back in 1999. They only did one album before the singer went a little Syd Barret. There have been some attempts at a comeback but then guy flips out and goes back into hiding again.

This album is really meant to be played entire piece, thus the ending seeming to "stop short."

On one other point, I respect your opinion, but on calling the lead singer a "Chuck Billy wannabe," I'd have to disagree. BTTBAM's lead singer (Tommy Rogers) is a screamer, as the band's roots are in hardcore. Chuck Billy is a thrash metal singer who doesn't scream (in the hardcore sense), thus the comparison doesn't make much sense. It's like saying Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) is a poor man's James Hetfield (Metallica). Their styles are nothing alike.

Otherwise, very in-depth review, nice effort...

I'd start with In Case We Die, its my favorite one by them.

And then the other two they have are Fingers Crossed and Places Like This. I would do those in that order, but as long as you start with In Case We Die its all good.

I love their sound, very unique and fun. I absolutely am a sucker for the electro/rock mix they've got going on.

As for your song, I didn't dig it. In all honesty, I didn't make it very far into it, but I really don't do well with metal, so I'm not the best judge.

I don't find anything particular memorable about this track. While it didn't pain me to listen to, it didn't prompt me to take a second listen either. Seems like pretty standard indie/post-whatever stuff, not terrible, not great.

I find it particular interesting how, in my opinion, Papoose's verses on this track are styled in a way that is very similar to Eminem's...I have noticed this similarity before, but on this track, listen to Pap's verses (especially his second one, around 2:50) and think about Em's "The Way I Am" off the Marshall Mathers LP. Maybe I'm nuts, but the flow is very similar in my opinion. Regardless of any of that, Pap is the most popular real (ie not 50 Cent) rapper on the streets of NY, and he hasn't even dropped an official album.
