Hi everyone recent took some 2C-B 16MGS in a cap and I'm enjoying it so far, just wondering if anyone could help me to tell me when I'm peaking or not? Sorry if this is a sillt or typical question its just I cannot actually see my screen much atm..... Apologies:)

It's like this: if you're on a swing set and you're going up then at one moment you are at the highest free floating at a "dead point", if you feel a bit like that in a trip you're peaking, if you are still going up you are not yet peaking. If you are settling down a bit into a slightly less intense and more steady state you are plateau-ing.
If you still can't tell, just don't worry about it. Relax and enjoy the ride!! Who cares when exactly you're peaking, 2C-B should be gentle enough to anyone at that dose, I hope you keep enjoying it like you say - quite confident that you will actually, just keep an eye on maintaining a comfortable environment but don't get too stressed over it either.

Much love <3

Much love to you to! Thank you just was curious as it is pleasent so far and am looking forward to the insights. Am rather new to this type of subtance. But haullengetics (pardon my spelling) Seem very interesting, thank you for your advice :)

Also, according to Erowid:

Total Duration
4 - 8 hrs
Onset
45 - 75 mins
Coming Up
15 - 30 mins
Plateau
2 - 4 hrs
Coming Down
1 - 2 hrs

The "Plateau" they refer to is also known as the peak :)

All done now, I think I was just starting to peak while posting. Was an amazing experiacne feeling happy, ego softing and not to mention walls breathe. :)

Excellent, if you have a trip report to share please post it in the Trip Reports section, it´s always much appreciated! Please consider it.
Also, using the Psychedelic Index below linked in my signature you can find 2C-B in the list and discuss your experience further or any questions you might have. :)

Then this will be closed since it seems to be concluded.

Not to be nitpicky but since the whole thread was about peaking...

But IMO, the plateau is not actually the peak. The plateau is generally known as the long period immediately passing the peak where the effects are at a standstill, no longer increasing but not decreasing, but the actual peak is that moment, substantially shorter than the plateau, where you're at THE seminal moment of the trip where everything is balls to the walls and quite strong.

I sense this difference most noticeably during bad/overwhelming trips, where the peak is quite uncomfortable, the 30 minutes or so where I tell myself "DAMMIT I WISH I HADN'T DONE THIS." Usually, by the time the plateau hits, I've got considerably more control over myself, and am enjoying the coasting effects quite a bit. Then, after a few hours, the effects start to gradually taper off.

How the effects of a drug manifest themselves over time though is by very nature subjective and I suspect that what part of the experience counts as the peak vs. the plateau varies from person to person, so don't put too much stock into that. :)

Slightly off topic, but does anyone feel that over time from consuming multiple substances that they have learnt to detect when the peak is occurring? I certainly can, it's just a sort've click in my head and I'm aware that the effects at that time are the peak. However, this becomes completely irrelevant at heroic doses, especially with psychedelics.

Well I will defeintly do a report! I have the change to get some LSD 150ug... now usually with weed just the feeling is weird. But on 2C-B it was just funny but it did/does have a low level MDMA effect. Could it be risky for me to try LSD? I have valium just in case but I will be on my own, with my parents sleeping but I'm so interested in the altered mindset.

If you have valium you should be fine. Besides, LSD is generally quite a fun experience, but don't take higher than 150ug for your first time - normally I would suggest even less but a valium will certainly kill the experience if it becomes too much.
