Convoy to Rainbow Serpent.

I am tossing up whether to do something huge on new years, or take it easy new years and possibly go to this. Haven't been to a Rainbow before as i was told it's mainly proggy psy. But i think i dig good prog psy now days. But only if it's good - like, Tim Harvey good. But there is a awesome Swedish guy called Andromeda (sp?) playing.. he's awesome.

Another problem is i wanna see Bon Jovi, so i am yet to get a ticket for him...

I am gonna have to do some hardcore convincing of the boyfriend too. He isn't prepared to pay the price of what the tickets are for Rainbow. They are hefty - but still reasonable considering we'd pay more to go see a band for one night.

*sigh* i'll take it as it comes.

Samadhi - also another brilliantly organised and awesome doof is Royal Doof. It's on mid year though, but i highly recommend as well. It's one i will never fail to miss.
 
I'm driving from Melbourne, but I just wanted to say, bring this weekend ON!!!

It's going to be rad.

I'm getting really excited about how many familiar faces will be there =D

I was just happy to know that i'd have a few familiar faces around, with the inevitable meeting up with someone/people i knew years ago and have crossed paths with again, as is mostly the case with events like this, but to see that there are going to be quite a few familiar faces (and faces i've wanted to familiarise myself with for ages) is a huuuuuge bonus. :D

^ I was actually going to hire a wicked campervan for the event, but they only have manuals and i'm lame and have only an auto license (i can drive manual, but am not allowed). So now i'm hiring a car from Melbourne Airport.

As it is, the lovely trancegirle is letting me borrow her tent, and air mattress. :D

We have very similar taste in music. I'm going to Bon Jovi in Sydney! Why they aren't coming to Brisbane is an interesting one...:|

I would love to join the convoy Maz but with BDO Gold Coast on Sunday 20th , Bon Jovi on the Tuesday 22nd in Sydney and my conference on 30th - 1st it leaves very little time for working. Plus I have used up all my holidays with christmas (3 weeks from tomorrow!)

Enjoy it guys! Def should do a road trip at some stage though.

Not sure man. Im heading up with one mate, and he is about as organised as me (ie. leave everything til the last minute) so i've no idea what day we are heading up. Im assuming we will go on the Friday, around 12-1pm? Is that when you guys are planning on embarking?
