Convoy to Rainbow Serpent.

Anyone interested in forming a convoy down to rainbow serpent?

I am certainly planning to drive and maybe others are as well or would like to just to be part of a massive convoy of bluelighters.

What say all?

Maybe some will have spare seats and can share the fuekl costs that way as well.
 
Leecie, would you like this over in Events, or perhaps we keep it here for a while, and then move it over closer to the event - with a redirect?

As for me, MazDan, i'm flying down, renting a car and convoying with some Melbourne Bluelighters... but i'm DEFINITELY keen for meeting up down there, it will be good to see some other friendly, familiar faces. :D
 
Up to you Mrs. S. There is already a RS thread over there, but if you guys want to plan the convoy over here and then re-direct it in a few weeks, I'm down with that. Events is a pretty cool place to hand out though ;)

I already knew the Samadhis would fly....they are always against doing things a bit differently just to make it memorable.............lol............now there is a challenge smadfhis.
 
Ill possibly be driving down in my (future) van to rainbow... im buying a van before rainbow (when i find a good one), and will be leaving sydney about the 19th January and doing the drive slow and camping along the way...

So yeah, i might have a spare spot if someone wants to go down in my van :D

Not sure about the convoy as i don't know when im headin up but would be down for meeting up whilst there :)

1. I'm coming down by myself for this event. Mr S is doing other stuff, and will be looking after the kids (pets). Work got in the way as well.

2. I can't take more than a week off, otherwise driving down would be an option - and i could take all of my own camping gear. :\

3. Dude you have no idea how differently we've done things to make it memorable. ;)
 
I'm very tempted to go to this (might try convincing MG2S to come with me) . I've only had one brief glimpse of a doof (like a couple of hours). I wanna see more.
 
^I've never been either, but from what i can gather, this festival is bigger and more organised the pretty much any doof i've been to - the ones i've attended in SE QLD were very underground, word-of-mouth events, and the only market stall was a mushroom tea stall and chai. =D Nothing was provided and it took 5 hours to get to the property. ;)

Maybe I could dust off the fairmont and give the cruise control a workout.
Is there any Marriotts or Hiltons within cabbing distance from the venue? ;)=D
