Haha, I remember renting a legit wrestling game wayyy back from blockbuster. You could jump off of a square cage. I loved the pixel bchs too.

They have some pretty decent mainstream wrestling games actually -- too close to a fighting game which i just did with MK (Well kinda close it was shaolin monks so a little closer...)

Wrestlemania 19 I think -- totally like legit authorized game with a "Vigilante" mode where you are just regularly killing wrestlers and pedestrians lmao
Smackdown Bring the Pain is considered one of the best released (and that lines up roughly with the last game I actually know who the wrestlers are) ... Since I dont have access to the 2k series with universe mode.
WWE all stars is really fun cuz they made no effort at accuracy and everything is exaggerated and over the top as possible (same time frame) has some storylines you can play too (includes a bunch of wrestlers from the 80s too)

Any wrestling game made past like 06-10 I dont know any of the characters unless there is some kind of hall of fame or legends or w/e

A wrestling game was actually why I bought a multitap for my PS1 (Which oddly I still have I think) --- dont remember much except my redic create a character and having a distinct advantage.

Getting tired of Skyrim so past couple days been waking up to play Gears Of War.

I've been playing Avowed a lot lately, it's a lot like Skyrim but it's made by Obsidian instead of Bethesda, so it's a little different. It's pretty new, came out last year. It didnt get the best reviews, I guess for just being so similar to other games, but I'm liking it a lot.

Gears of War didn't scratch the itch - replaying Max Payne on hardcore, free aim. The graphics mechanics, like slow-motion when you kill the last guy in a scene / room, is so cool. Played Max Payne 1 and 2 when i was in late elementary school - pretty fun games.

Same -- max payne is a core memory. On hardcore with freeaim -- damn you good!!

lol I stick to normal on games if there is one and I will go to easy if I get stuck for too long and its an option. Painkillers instead of health was a classic and made me laugh (Okay I was older than elementary apparently, late middle school prolly).

"Auto aim/lock" is kinda lame depending on the game though

Ok this is too funny -- so I am about 60% through sonic unleashed and they borrowed SO MUCH from mario 64. When sonic clears a race a THICK ITALIAN ACCENT "Peez a' cake" (Is that same clip in mario 64 cuz it sounded so familiar)
The thing where mario follows a path in the air -- borrowed. The same exact walk down a dark hallway concept to enter new place/stage borrowed. THE SPINNING FLAME BRICKS, Borrowed!

For a sonic game it feels so much like mario 64 repurposed that it is just weird. PS -- if you are dying for a mario64 like game (Well lot of tutorial shit and save screens that slow you down to be honest) But plays damn similar

Simpsons hit and run is on the list

*Edit* I didnt know they redid sonic unleashed for the 360 -- I hope they got rid of these god awful loading/saving every 2 seconds nonsense. (presume they would)

Alright next game ---- Shadow of Collossus or a Tomb Raider I am thinking

@ChemicallyEnhanced (Or anyone else - or ill google) What would be "The Tomb Raider" 1-6 On PS2? (and 1 does have a remake that came out later in ps2 land but I doubt 1 is the answer)
