well i've been readin this post for months now and nobody has even mentioned something, lets stop tryin to plan a meetup in ct, cuz we all now, the scene sucks, how 'bout on your knees on the 26th, phat party, good lineup, and the asylum seems to be everybodys favorite, i'll be there, will you?

so true Icey, so true. that place has givin me a lot of memories. :) i haven't been to asylum in 2 years. so i can't say much about the scene there. the thing i didn't like about it was the 14 year olds running around.

I will not step foot in Vibe until they get control of whats goin on in there. Right now that place is everything that the scene isnt about. Last time i was there i went into the bathroom and the same two kids were in there running business all night long. COMPLETE SKETCHINESS!!! Maybe during the summer things will be a lil better there when kids get outta college and school. Thats what normally happens. And System is "Suppose" to re-open sometime in the future. I hated System when it was opened but they are suppose to redo the whole place. And don't even get me started on the Muni. Thats place is a crackhouse for 14 year olds. Anything at this point in CT is worth a try cause everything has gone to SHIT!!!
 
System will never be what it was a year ago...that place was amazing until January 2001. The people there were fucking great. I can't stand Vibe though, its a horrible horrible place. I gave it one last shot last weekend, which was a mistake. Never going back there again. The rooftop at System during the summer and fall of last year was amazing...watching the sun come up over Hartford in the morning was a thing of beauty every time. The music was great, the people were great, and everyone always had a good time there, until the media fucked it over.
 
Speekah Phreekah: I think I remember seeing you at System and Asylum a lot...I also remember seeing you at Exhale up in mass last December. That was a hot party...too bad they aren't having parties up in Fitchburg anymore...I think you mighta known my friend Ron a little bit too...not to sure though. Hit me back.
 
I think this needs to be closed and another CT Roll Call should be opened. (Hint Hint Mods) ;)

KayDUB.... that sounds like a good idea for a ct meetup, or for any sort of meetup at all. Im makin Maui go to that partee n me n him plan to meet there. :Þ So uh yea. Who else is goin to this one? KayDUB let me know if you wanna try harder to get somethin goin, I'll help :) .

I was at System like every fri/sat since they opened....up until it got really blown up and out of control. I'm quite sure you saw me at Exhale... and I'm always at the Asylum. Wish I knew who you were. Can't say I remember who Ron would be either.... (guess I lost lots of brain cells since then or something...hehe)
Those were some good days though.
Alice and Dub, I'm willing to help out with a meetup too....
Question: Does it have to be at a party?

I remember talking to you on a few occasions, I know I got shit from you or your friends a couple times too. I used to go to system and sport a black and white cat-in-the-hat hat. Me and my boy always had lines of people waitin to get light shows and shit...I always used to chill inbetween the main room waterbar and dance floor...in that little area that had mad black lights. Oh how I miss that place...........

yay. Well no,not nessiarily. But if there are gonna be a lot of cters at one partee then it makes it an easy place to get a meetup goin yanno? It doesn't haveta be at one tho.

well i'm hittin up on your knees, just need to pull the money out of my ass somehow, tips sucked on monday and i already blew through 'em all, i just might have to hit up the first national bank of mom and dad, but yes this party is this weekend, plan people, we should all wear something similar, no not fetish gear, definitely not into it, peace

I think it might have to be at a party, cuz no one likes any place in CT, and I personally don't have the money to travel anywhere good like NYC or boston, unless someone is willing to throw a house party we're probably going to have to meet up at a party, any other suggestions!!!
 
KayDUB- well there is *supose* to be maybe a meetup at 11 someplace, I think near the coat check but I may be wrong..? someone wanna correct me on this. If not we should make a place to met at whatever time cuz yea. That would be better. Any ideas?
 
Well I posted this in the old one but im 20 and from North Haven. I think we should get a meet up goin at So Fresh and So Clean. Just a CT meet up though. If anyone is down we will make a time and spot. Lets see if this works. Peace :)
