ok... just an idea.. there is a party at the muni... called one nation undivided... the date is... it is on oct. 6th... we should definitely have a ct meetup... what does everyone else think??? well let me know.. and i will tell all my friends about it too.... noodle.. i am like 25 min from groton/new london... i live in colchester... well anyways talk to all of you later... gotta get going.. .going to the asylum tonight

alwright, never been to the muni. heard it really sux. why not vibe? we could go to there Blow Up 2 party. sunday, Oct. 7. althuogh, i have to work on monday. so i prob wouldn't be able to go.

What's up, new comer to bluelight but long time partier here. Lived in Ellington for ages but now got my own place in Andover. Connecticut has NO scene in my opinion. I hate the Muni, its a run down rathole where everyone preaches against drugs and then rails a bag of K in the corner. Vibe is just horrible, the people usually suck and the music isn't anything to brag about. As far as I know, System is gone now, but I did like that place, even if it was a drug hole. Fall of 2000 was amazing there, they had good music, good people, and even had a jungle room. Oh well, the media killed it. As far as I'm concerned, it's just the Asylum for me from now on, everything else near here is horrible. But I would rather go to Vibe than the Muni.

I totally agree with you XTCvitality. I hate the Muni, and Vibe really sux...
I miss System!!!!! That's where it all began for me. DJ's Sean Cunningham and Maa Bell.... JJ Blades and Maddam Buddafly and DnB in the second room....
All the chill people that used to go there.... the awseome vibe created each weekend.... I went almost every weekend till it started gettin' a little sketchy. There'll never be another club like it in my opinion. Remember the warm summer nights on the rooftop? *sighs* RIP SYSTEM!! (pauses for moment of Silence...)
As far as a meetup, I'd choose Vibe over the Muni anyday.

Well we may have a shitty sene and live in boring towns, but the people here are hella crazy. It goes from the extream of havin either stuck up mutha fuckers to havin crazy ghetto people. Then in the middle we've got some of the most amazing people I could possibly meet. :) If we had some good venues n clubs, ct would be wicked. Thats just my 2 cents. Im done. :)
 
yeah, a meet up or a party would be phat. I travel a lot and now graduating so recently rented a place in South Norwalk (near Stamford). Don't know too many people around and mostly hang out in New York and Philly, but would love to see local ravers, seems like we've got a lot ppl here.
 
A meet-up would be nice but the scene in CT sux ass. I wouldnt even consider Vibe...anyone been there lately??? Insomnia was the shit when it was around but those days are unfortunately over. :( Same thing with System, but they are eventually re-opening. But is gonna be a Martini Lounge downstairs and club upstairs. So there will be a bunch of drunken assholes there. And the Muni is the shittiest hole in the wall in CT!!! So where does that leave us with a meet-up spot???
 
Xplore: your from Norwalk? im from stamford, I know about 10 stamford bl'ers as well as like 30 ct bl'ers hehe. hit me up on aim sometime we should chill. :)
