i believe hard drugs are especially cheaper closer to the mexican border as the further north you go the higher the chance of getting caught up

To make this more thread worthy: perhaps you mean in the US, overall quality in the North, South, and West comparison could spark some discussion.

I'll see where this goes as to whether or not it'll stay open, I did some editing --- please no price discussions in here.

We got some good weed. Its not cheap but its affordable enough. I used to get some strong ass brick weed (sounds like an oxymoron). I think the shwagg is fresher down here...Some is grown locally cause of the hot ass weather. The local buds I've sampled are pretty good.

New England's got some fucking choice ass nugs. All around.

The southern East Coast has some decent shit, but more often when I visit friends they come up with some really nice midgrade... great mids, but not quite loud.

I think the West's got the Northeast beat, but I also think New England might give Cali a run for its money.

you can get good shit anywhere

i think the main difference would be the prevelance of lower grade/shwag weed down south, not to say u cant find shwag up north but it seems to be somewhat more common down south

having said that i am from Texas (DFW) and at any point in time can i find some shit that could compete against any state

its more about who you know

Exactly.Down here on the gulf of mexico shwag is everywhere but you can still find some dank nugs.I lived up in Indiana/Kentucky for a few years and never saw any mexi brick crap.

Instead of changing this thread into a question of "who you know," how about we keep it a question of what kind of herbal's more prevalent across the different regions?

just a suggestion. :p

K I will bite...

I live in the NE USA, the most prevalent here is mersh, from mid to beaster / "KB", also tons of dank. There is bammer around here, it is dirt and dirt cheap but if you went to the nearest city and bought a dub it will be dank or mersh. If someone wanted to buy dirt they would pick up quantity, talkin LBs

My experience w/ the south: more crappy weed, still lots of good weed, but less between these two extremes. Also cheaper in general if we are talking street prices.

yes it was meant to be US based...im in new england too and yes, bombbb shittt

sry bout the price talk, first time user wont happen again

I live in Maine, USA nuff fucking said about what quality I smoke.
p.s. we have decriminalized marijuana and also recently opened brand new marijuana dispenseries--I believe 6 total in the state

South Central US here, we get brick weed here, althouh most of it goes to the east coast or up north were they can get more money for it.We have lottsa mid-grade outdoor buds because of the long growing season and the rain, and warm weather. We also get a lot of high grade indoor stuff grown by experienced people with seeds obtained from Amsterdam and Canada, also we get good Cali bud here, and it is cheaper for the high grade buds here than in the prices I have been told and heard all my life for the North and Northeast especially Mass.. apparently they pay twice what we do for Beasters and about 25%+ more for high grade, and it's the same quality stuff here as there.I'm talking about the BC Bud ,Cali high grade etc,, is cheaper here than in Mass,NY,NJ,etc...

umm, im gonna have to say you're a homer

who else that isnt from maine thinks of main when they think of good weed?

not me, yea i think Jibby mentioned NE is generally all around good but it isnt so well known all u gotta say is "maine" and people will understand your talking about good weed, not by a long shot

also you said nuff said and then proceeded to explain yourself as to why maine is a special place in terms of pot

pffftt 8)

This. Hands down. I've been around the US and although you can find fire anywhere (thanks postal service and hydro indoor growers), you will consistently find the best in the US in New England area and California.

Also, HoL, Maine has some insane MMJ. My friend is a full time grower for a dispensary and it's some of the most consistantly good shit. He had just shown me some AK-99 (ak/cindy 99) - it was amazing and estimated 28%+ THC content... Absurd.

^^So chainer, when u think of good weed u think of Maine? doubtful. but you're from NH anyways so what i said to shane may apply to you too, perhaps you're a bit of a homer, no?

by the way just to clarify, im not sayin there isnt good weed in maine, but just read the post it was as if the word Maine was synonymous with great weed or something, that's what i was calling out

Nay, the best bud I get is generally from the mass area due to MA being decrimed and pretty generally accepted everywhere in Boston (if you're white, that is). Maine doesn't come to mind persay when I hear "fire bud" but they certainly have some great MMJ, I know first hand. Not the best I've had, but it deff ranks up there. I've been around the country and New England has the varity scene pretty well covered whereas I generally find the best indica strains come from Cali. I wouldn't laugh off Maine though, it was one of the earlier states to medicinalize and that alone gets them props and a head start on several other states, quality-wise.

It has nothing to do with being a homer brah.
Your knowledge on North American--New England marijuana is obviously lucid.
People come to Maine for our crops every fall because we live in a wide-open landscape filled with luscious land harvesting very talented growers. And our laws forbid only >99 plants and >1/4lb possession. If you stick to below those amounts--it's a non-arrest summons/ticket. That's why we rule.

whatever
