Hey everyone. Probably won’t post a lot anymore.

I just don’t have anything positive to say and don’t want to bring morale down since most people want hope.

I dont know how well they would work with me i smoke like a pack and a half or 2 packs a day lol. I may have to try them again though
Might need to wear 2 patches to start with if you try again, I think one patch on step 1 has the equivalent amount of nicotine of 20 cigs a day so if you smoke more than 20 a day 1 patch won’t do it. I think the patches help get the nicotine in your system so you don’t stress out but the hard part is breaking the hand to mouth habit, as dumb as it sounds I was blowing bubbles to break the hand to mouth habit which surprisingly helped even though at times it didn’t feel like it but I was just trusting the process… other people do other things to break hand to mouth like use toothpicks, lollipops, chew gum and even eat celery… after a while I felt ridiculous blowing bubbles so I stopped and sure enough it worked and I got rid of the hand to mouth habit

Thats why i always say nicotine is way harder to quit then fent or coke as atlaest with those you arent doing them every 10 minutes like wth nicotine. With cigarettes its every half hour or more if your a heavy smoker like me

I guess i could wear 2 patches. Honestly the thought of quitting scares the fuck out of me. I would much rsther go through fent withdrawal again then tobacco wd

Yeah I understand that fear, I’m even scared to move on to step 2 of the patches which of course is a lower dose of nicotine cause I’m sure it would be no different to cutting back on cigs or vaping which I always found challenging to say the least. My advice would be to do it scared, very rarely does anyone quit on their first attempts, usually takes many attempts so it’s always worth a try, you never know when an attempt is going to be successful. Smoking really do take years off your life so after seeing my dads dead body smoking felt like soft suicide and I hated it so much but nicotine really had its hooks in me.

I remember tapering off the patches years ago like that. One thing with cigs is that they take up such a big part of your life. Like for me one of the best parts of the day is when i get my first cup of coffee and first cig. Nothing like it.

My mom quit cigs on her first try and thus thinks shes better then everyone else lol

How have you been? Whats your current symptoms and have you noticed improvements? @Trueart2

Still having issues with physical activity, and haven’t recovered my intellect. Getting scared this is due to my concussion and this is permanent. I do fine, on both cognitive and intellectual tests. Statistically my problems aren’t showing up, but I don’t have the same creative juices anymore nor the ability to speak as much as I used to. Things are getting a bit better but for the most part they feel the exact same.

I’ve done much research on Invega, but after my psychiatrist told me that Invega leaves the system in 3 months I’ve been less hard on about waiting till the 8 month timeframe. It’s been about 2.5 months since my 5th and final injection, and I’m still just waiting. Thinking about getting into substitute teaching again so I can get back into my occupation, even if it isn’t actual teaching. I was also thinking about going to mechanic school at night but we’ll see.

Most activity is good activity, I’ve stopped posting a bit because I haven’t had any reasonable information to update this place with either, but I still check and read the messages daily.

Yeah I hear you, I used to start my day with a coffee and a smoke 👌 then when I quit cigs it was a coffee and vape lol
I sleep with a patch on so I’m not waking up with cravings and it’s been working but dreams be so weird when you sleep with a patch on.

I would proabably think the same way if I quit on my first attempt 😆 honestly lost count of how many attempts I’ve had over the years

I am really panicking right now and scared, I saw someone on reddit who took similar doses and they are displaying the same side effects as me, they also haven’t recovered after over a year

“Metabolism destroyed, I go weeks without eating food, but my stomach is always swollen. Gum recession, as soon as I eat something hard they start to bleed. Very weak immune system, I always have a cold. Breast development. Impotence, disappeared libido, no sleep and appetite!”

the only one i don’t have is breast development ( yet) and no sleep

I have had cold for over a week now, Oh God I am cooked

@Trueart2 who made the invegadoc and people who recovered from invega, do the people who recover from invega recover 100% the way they used to be or is their any permanent damage?
