It's probably been over two years since I got the loading and first dose of invenga. I've definitely improved a lot but I'm still not back to where I was before this started.
I got put on my first cto a month or two ago and am now stuck on abilify depot, started with quite a few zuclo depots but I was having Parkinson's symptoms.
This stuff is way more gentle and not nearly as debilitating, in fact I've been less depressed than earlier.
I'm still using gear but not as much as I was before, and no more needles for me.
I'm gonna go for a rehearing in a month or two, my psych is a half reasonable guy bit he's leaving at the end of the year. I doubt my next psych will be as understanding/human/empathetic.
I hope everyone that's been given this vile poison is recovering well, most things do clear up. I still feel like my soul is broken though.
How many injections did you get?

well to people that hasn’t healed after years... 8 months 2 weeks off xeplion (paliperidone) starting to feel my old self again ahedonia is almost lifted have libido back only problem I’cant fall asleep or take nap in daylight

Also to fucking say "I'm not schizophrenic and you are because I've only had one psychotic episode" is a joke. Most people here have had one psychotic episode. There is a 30%chance that you will not have another. Those who are here are those who decided that it would be better to take a chance on that 30% of not being schizophrenic. MOST OF US DON'T KNOW YET. Some people that don't come back here don't come back because they RELAPSED. So for most of us here we are here because coming off invega and the hope of feeling like a normal human being again is the last hope we have that we aren't doomed to a pointless and miserable existence on APS for the rest of our lives. There are many people who succumb to the pressure from "doctors" and family and never even go for that 30%. So the people here are fucking brave. Malakoff 100%seems to have more mental issues than zach, because he's here talking shit to people going through what could be the hardest thing a human being can fucking go through, and Zach has done nothing but organize, update, and help.

*Mod edit* - please be nice! ;)

Some people don't come back to this forum because they actually had recovery. There was a guy, for example, that came in briefly, made one post and he said how much better he's doing after coming off the drug and how he's doing MMA every day and keeping busy. He mentioned in his post he wasn't going to be coming back on here. I actually added him on facebook and he still seems to be doing just fine. He shares a lot of his random thoughts on facebook and he has a big of an ego and he's very opinionated on controversial topics without seeming to be very informed. Lol.

Also thank you for saying we're brave. I believe that too. For me, coming off the drug felt very natural to do. It felt like the next step. I realized that I was wasting away for two years of being on it and I wanted change. I didn't do it in secret. I told my parents I wanted to and my mom helped me seek out a new doctor - a naturopathic doctor. She did four tests on me. A blood test, two different urine tests, and a hair sample. She gave me supplements to take daily based on the results. I'm seeing more and more improvement and that's all I can really say.

After how many months or years u recovered?
Nobody recover sorry to tell you that but I think now blue light it's an illusion too many lying in this forum some people don't care lost emotion the best lie it's zach he say he recovery in 4 month after no after yes lol bullshit

I don’t believe you there are out there people that have been recovered u talking bullshit right now. It only needs time maybe 10 months maybe 5 years

@madness00 : please kick Malakoff from the thread. Antipsychotique33 and me want him away.

@Malakoff : je t'ai reporté. Tu profanes trop de mensonge. Des gens sont au bord du suicide ici. Ne leur enlèves pas leur espoir.
Dieu peut déplacer des montagnes pour ceux qui y croient. Amen.

Those who accuse the recovered of liars do not deserve to be here. We are trying to give hope. Not to lead them on a scary suicidal path.
Me too I have suicidal thinking but I'm realist bro I see you story all the people tell you it's not possible you recovery emotion in 4 month so stop dirty vega it's great example of this maybe you can feel more happy and that it me too I want be like before but it's not possible bro so you told me people need hope yes but it's not good give fake hope you need be honest bro

So how you take again antipsychotic you know it's a poison abilify or xeplion it's the same poison so thinking little bit you psychiatrists don't give a fuck and you maybe you hearing voice you need ap I don't know bro but stop lying

@Malakoff : the only thing that tells you I am a liar is your imaginaton.

I have been so honnest man.
You can't take that away.
If you happy I'm happy for you seriously but emotion you don't have that I can give all money what I have we go do experience for see if you have adrena line i bet 10000 euros with doctor you see you recovery is in you brain not the true

Malakoff, all you can do is listen to his experience. We all know ourselves far better than anyone else. If he says he has recovered in some aspects, let him have that. How can we ever know what's true and what isn't? All we know, is it CAN get better. Can. And that should be enough to keep on moving throughout your day.

Everyone has a right to be here, but I will be unapproving any more uncivil posts.

I had 3 injections.
131 days (4.3 months) since the last injection.
Not much improvement.
No energy
No libido
Blank mind
Feel dumber
Memory issues
Ahnedonia
Weight gain

I'm terribly depressed every day...
Really scared to be stuck like this for life, I don't think I could do it.
I think about ending it all everyday.
I gave up exercising and eating healthy because it wasn't helping.
I also feel extremely embarrassed since I made a complete fool of myself publicly during my psychosis.

I drink alot now even though it doesn't feel as pleasurable as before invega and it takes alot to feel something.
I drink at night just to feel something different then this constant sedated state and to help fall me asleep.
Definitely not good thing but I don't really care, I'm already ruined and the ahnedonia and depression become overwhelming at times, so fuck it.

Hope all you recover and are doing as well as possible!
It's nice to have somewhere to come and talk to people who understand and going through similar.
It's been 6 months off invega, three shots. And I feel fine. I still can't sleep during the day but my deppresion went away with sertaline 50mg a low dose. Give it some more time. You should feel better after the 6 or 8 month and even more better after the 12 or 16 month.

I have read through every page on ALL the coming off invega sustenna forums and people DO RECOVER. You have to look at everyone individually. This medication effects everyone differently that is why everyone recovers in a different way and at different times. I believe lifestyle is a big factor in your recovery. If you are eating junk and not doing physical activity then of course it will take you longer. I can also see why some might believe that people still taking medication aren't recovered but remember these people that recovered were at a point where life was pointless and then they say that they feel just like their old selves again. That's recovery in my eyes. Also remember that people may turn to medication throughout this process because it's hard to get through and I completely understand that as well. Just be aware of what you are putting in your body and the side effects it can have on your brain/body. I have witnessed my husband improve. He is almost 7 months off and things only just recently started to improve. It's a long hard road but everyone will get there.

Neurogenesis is the ability to create new neurons and connections between neurons throughout a lifetime. The latter process is also referred to as synaptogenesis. ... It is the one brain's ability that allows recovery.Sustained aerobic exercise increases adult neurogenesis in brain. This is probably why people report that exercise is key.
According to some studies, neurogenesis can be also reinforced by certain dietary substances, such as flavonoids, found in blueberries and cocoa, resveratrol, found in red wine, or curcumin, found in the turmeric spice. Your brain has just been assaulted by this drug and you need to give it the healing power.
