Why give up on life because of a drugs' effects?
Yes, there's no doubt Invega and the like are harmful - but why keep obsessing over it?

I've been coerced/intimidated into taking this sort of shit since early 2015 by way of injection and also oral drugs on top of that. Full recovery to pre-neuroleptic state took me eight months after ten maximum dose injections. Full recovery to me means the ability to feel (rather extreme) positive emotion, spiritual insight, feeling alive, well & healthy. Active. Flexible. Fit. Intelligent. Eight months of doing not much at all; just allowing the drug to naturally eliminate itself, bought back everything I once thought was lost.

I still take neuroleptics + mood stabilizers by force, but only for a short while longer. I'd rather not take anything, and still maintain with complete certainty that I never needed pharmaceutical drug intervention, nor did I want it of course, but whatever.

Some activities that attenuate the effects of psychiatric drugs include:
1. Brainwave Entrainment. This involves listening to audio/binaural-type beats with the aim of fostering a trance-like state to allow relaxation and energetic healing to occur more easily. Quietens your conscious-mind/ego. Feels great. 50% the method I used to quit nicotine addiction also (note: what other harmful drugs are you truly on - most symptoms people are complaining about here mimic the effects of nicotine addiction)
2. Natural Healing. A huge topic, with a lot of dis-information out there about it. I specifically read and implement anything from Walter Last. http://heal-yourself.com.au/
3. Talk therapy with a "therapist/psychologist". Fid one who is pro-recovery without the need for psych drugs. Most mainstream doctors would love to see you ill, or on drugs, as this is how they keep themselves employed. Get interested in the truth, find someone who sells themselves as a "spiritually-minded"/"wholistic practitioner" and suss them out, could be a good place to start...

* If you're being forced to take these drugs; the best way out is through the system.
* If you're not forced, and don't think it's helpful, why are you taking them? See the work of Will Hall - his Harm Reduction Guide to reducing or eliminating is the best I've found over the years. This thread is rather helpless in terms of recovery and seems to me to be promoting longevity of a fear-mongering environment. Feel free to pm me an email address if you'd like to get in contact with me further; I'm working on a project which will serve those who think they suffer from neuroleptic or other psychiatric drugs, but would love to chat with more of you individually in the meantime.
well said literally have to take it month by month day by day ...the depression is what's killing me right now ..makes me feel so bitter towards life .

It depends from person to person, there are people who are more prone to brain plasticity, it also might be age related imo

@Dirtyinvega can I ask you your age? By the way, I'm sorry your emotions are not the same as before but a partial recover is still a recover...

I'm 31 years old. it's alright right mate - it's not your fault. I know they wont be coming back it's sad and I miss them. But I have to live my life. What other choice do I have? Shit happens in life and you move on. :)

going to happen.
how many injections did you get ....I honestly feel like the amount of injections does determine the recovery time..on top of that everyone response differently to the injection ...just because one person does not recover something doesnt mean the next person won't...sorry that you didn't I know that must really been hard but like you said you adapted ..I honestly hope I recover my emotions back at least 95% because the full 100 % probable send me back into pychosis because I literally felt connected to everything and everyone it was a gift but a curse at the same time ..

I had a loading dose 156mg and one week later 116mg and 4 months (116mg) of injections. I really hope you recover 100%. But I wont recover 100% it's a fact of life - I have to live with what I have now.

No. That class of drug will makes things worse. You'll appear to have signs of schizophrenia, and might get forced to take more antipsychotic medication.

Yes but will it have any effect? Will it have any effect seeing as it doesn't work on serotonin and dopamine which invega works on? Will it blunt the effects cos I have meth and there is some effect but for the most part it's greatly diminished.

What do you mean the best way is through the system? There is no way out of a CTO if your forced to have the shot your forced to have the shot.

Could someone tell me if shaking your head very hard many times could help heal the side effects from invega? Ive been doing many head exercises by shaking my head alot. Ive been feeling kindve different from this but it hasnt been healing me at all yet.

Could this be harmful and makes things worse? Could it make my recovery take even longer? Has anyone tried this yet?

Don't be discouraged by the constantly negative people, we have someone named The Most Ultimate who recovered fully after 5 months, nybryx has recovered after 6 months, steph after 8. Steph got a lot however. I got 2 injections of 234mg. I am currently on day 90 today 3 exact months since the initiation of this poisonous crap. I feel better than I did before but im hoping for more improvements.

Recovery duration from Invega Sustenna!

Hello,
This post is about the exact time...Invega leaves your body.

If you stopped Invega and are currently CONSUMED by the thought of " When will invega wear off from my system"?.....I can 100% guarantee.....You will have 100% full recovery from this bad drug. It all depends on how many shots you had....For me I had only the initial loading dose of 154mg....

First month was HELL!..
Second month I was in like getting used to hell....
Third and fourth were like "I've gotten used to being in hell" to the point I was functioning normally...during that time...I never even bothered about "The recovery from invega"
Fifth month mark...I am 100% back to normal. I can enjoy smoking...all my senses are back to normal....Everything....I have Great Energy. I am 100% back to the old me!....
Hang in there....Just like I said...it all depends on how many shots you had...if you had like two shots..It means...your full recovery will be on the 7th or 8th month mark...No matter what...You will have 100% Full recovery.

The only reason I am posting this is because when I was in Hell....I was in this website for days...with severe depression and with an intense fear of the possibility that I will never fully recover from this bad bad drug!

Hang in there!

I'm not yet recovered, i mentioned a lot of improvements and problems in my last update. i am 10 weeks away from the 8 month barrier and i dont think this will be behind me by then but going by the improvements ive had in the last 3 months i think i will be significantly better

Recovered means recovering your life force anything else is for survival I'm not going to put a timer on it bc I know that this isn't permanent if you only took one shot
