Again, to reiterate what the senior mod said, we're here for each other, not to sow dissent. Please be kind. It shouldn't be too much to ask. We're all people.

As for weight, I found that it was more a matter of bearing uncomfortable cravings than in scrutinizing what I eat. I still have far to go, but that idea has worked for me in the past.
Well it’s ridiculous that a couple males on here say that’s it’s all about calorie deficit! Lol if you watch @kylefolks videos on YouTube he had massive facial swelling and weight gain from the Invega injection and it took him a year off the injection for everything to go back to normal and he still complains about his face not going back to normal or anything. Just like @Baddream says it’s all about genetics I’m sorry I’m 5’3 and sometimes get down to 107lbs how much more weight can I possibly lose without hitting the worrisome mark. It’s just ignorant. Antipsychotics have changed the way the fat is distributed on my body. Period.

I couldnt loose weight on the inveg to save my life but onbnce i went on latuda i dropped down to 170'. Not since i habve been on zyprexa i have not gained much weight and thought lifting heavy weight i bulked up to 200lbs

Not at all. I can’t seem to lose weight. It is not as simple as “having a calorie deficit,” such as some people on this forum suggest. I eat

Egg whites and wheat oatmeal for breakfast

Grilled chicken, sweet potatoes and vegetables for lunch and dinner

No sweet and no sodas

I also have been working out 6 days a week for 3 months.

I have gained 27 lbs since taking invega and have not lost a single pound. I was an avid CrossFit guy. I was 155lbs, could run 8 miles a day and had a 8%-9% body fat. Now I am flab.
I think once you're closer to 12-14 months off you will have an easier time. At least for me I couldn't get in physical shape until around that time

Yeah I was astounded by how different I felt after 12 months

Try to use your mind doing mind puzzles or reading or writing even if it’s just 5 minutes a day, once you get used to doing 5 minutes a day it gets easier to do 20 minutes a day

I'm lean not skinny. I was skinny before Trinza. But as i said it is the least problem, good for you you only have that side effect
Is your face back to normal the way it was preinvega?

Damn I hope so. I feel permanently altered. The drug affected me in an extremely powerful way, it hijacked my entire brain. Are you certain the brain damage i received can recover? My brain feels slow, i have memory problems, its hard to form sentences and I can’t speak to people anymore
Have you started to see any improvements? And how long have you been off? I know exactly what you mean it’s hard to explain but I cannot even maintain a conversation anymore my brain with all my creativity and personality is locked away smh

How many months are you with your recovery?

Hi.. I got 4 invega sustena and 2 trinza. Among other side effects one was weight gain wich is the least problem for me but i can tell you that after 2 months off i lost good amount of wight. I am now four months off of Trinza, last shot was on 30 november, it lasts for 3 months so i am four months off of AP s and i got my figure back..
So after 5 months off your last injection was when you noticed your body and face being back to normal?

The only real improvement is my energy levels. I can actually go for a walk now. At one month off I could hardly do anything. My thinking has come back a little but its no where near to pre invega. I fear I’ll never get myself back

My personality and ability to converse with people is completely gone

Just over 2 months off, didn’t you recover?
Yeah I recovered. But I’m trying to get some understanding over what happened over those two years, after I was criticised by a family member. I’m quite traumatised by that criticism and the experience

The psychosis was still worse than Invega though but I partially lost my identity for a couple of years

How many precent of people recover does anybody has idea?
Everyone recovers to a certain degree depending on how many shots you’ve had is the biggest factor in the amount of time it’s going to take to start seeing improvements I had 4 shots and didn’t feel any relief until 12 months
