Hey guys I'm new to this forum. I've been injected with the two loading doses two 75mg of sustenna, then one dose of trinza. The worst side effect of them all was weight gain/fat gain. I used to be a bodybuilder and am now looking like a walrus. Did those that recovered gain their former physique back. Will I look like my old self again. How long did it take?
Hi.. I got 4 invega sustena and 2 trinza. Among other side effects one was weight gain wich is the least problem for me but i can tell you that after 2 months off i lost good amount of wight. I am now four months off of Trinza, last shot was on 30 november, it lasts for 3 months so i am four months off of AP s and i got my figure back..

I do low volume workouts with as heavy weights as I can handle. I maintained most of my strength. I just don’t have the energy to do high rep sets. Usually one exercise per bodypart. E.g. Squat, bench and rows for 3-5 reps. Then some pushups/dips/pullups as many as I can to finish off. I’ve been losing some weight too lately, it can be done. But I noticed I sweat less. Need to keep calories low.

Not much beside reduction of the food..
I see well Im happy you got your figure back. Hopefully the same will apply to me.

Are you fairly lean now or skinny? Im glad youve been making progress in the gym and losing weight.

Would you say your quite skinny or lean. What about your face? I saw many posts saying the face fat doesnt come off and stays unattractive even after losing weight.

I’m not too fat. I have some vague definition. But I feel flat, I used to be pumped. At least I maintained strength. I’m working on the weight. My stats at 80kg bw are: squat: 160kg, deadlift: 200kg, bench: 110kg, pendlay row: 110kg, ohp: 75kg. Those are 1rm’s. I lost about 15-20% strength but I think I can get it back when I increase volume

Face fat is just genetically predisposed. Just lose weight in general to get leaner. Some people need to be ripped in order to have a lean face. Nothing to do with invega.

I'm lean not skinny. I was skinny before Trinza. But as i said it is the least problem, good for you you only have that side effect

face bloating is a side effect of invega so is face deformation enough posts on reddit and other forums discussing warped bones and bloated face. Antipsychotics get stored in the bone marrow and can influence bone growth and maintanence they also supress the immune system in bone marrow

Nah I’ve only had psychosis twice in the summer of 2020. And that was after coming off of Invega. Antipsychotics give you psychotic symptoms you didn’t have before. I never had psychosis prior to being injected with Invega Sustenna. I was a targeted individual and was forced onto the antipsychotics by God and if I come off of them then I get doomed 5 1/2- 6 months later
Did you recover?

You need to chill. I may have said something wrong or maybe we disagree. I don’t believe that invega can change your fat distribution or whatever. Until you provide some evidence I’m not going to agree. I just go by what’s conventional. What’s so blatantly ignorant about that?

Maybe you’re right. Do you have any research to back that up or are we supposed to take what you say at face value?

Fat is fat, no matter where it is stored. You need to keep shredding until it’s gone, no drug can ever change that fact. It’s basic biology

My parents are. I also can’t make eye contact. It’s a really weird side effect. It took away my personality and ability to communicate like a normal human being.
How long have you been off? I noticed this but it’s getting better

Studies indicate that up to two-thirds of patients treated with atypical antipsychotics experience impaired bone marrow density, leading to osteoporosis. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK572154/

Side effects include swelling of facial parts https://www.drugs.com/sfx/invega-side-effects.html

Relax, a few injections aren’t going to change your bone structure in such short amount of time.

And the face fat thing, show me somebody with a ripped six pack and bloated face. It doesn’t happen. Maybe a few unlucky people, but it has nothing to do with this drug, it’s genetic.

I didn’t find that side effect, but I only skimmed through. 17 shots aren’t going to do permanent damage, I don’t think/hope.

I’m not trying to say her face isn’t bloated, I just think it has more to do with general body weight.

For most people, the face gets bloated because of fat and will go back to normal once the weight is lost.

I’ve noticed help me invega has had some real adverse side effects. She’s been here a very long time as well. Maybe she had a really bad reaction to the drug.

But I don’t think 99% of us need to panic about bone structure or parmanent metabolic damage for the time being. Once you’re able to do intense cardio yo will look great again
