Mental Health Coming off Invega (Paliperidone, Xeplion) injections v 6.0

invega is much more harmfull than meth...just one shot fucks you up an entire year if not permanent. In previous threads there were heroin users and meth users/addicts all of them said invega is significantly more harmfull

Meth or heroin don't deliberately block your receptors, so that's already a plus.

I was given 3 injections (if thats how many you get in 3 months i forget) of invega and as many as 18 injections of abilify and i recovered after 3 months of being on latuda. Abilify was just as bad as invega for me i noticed no difference. I actually prefer older antipsychotics like Thorazine and compazine over invega or abilify.

Im on zyprexa now as i got akathisia from latuda and had another psychotic episode which thanks to clonazepam i recovered from just in time to not get put in a psych ward against my will again. As i would never go there voluntarily. Im still recovered from the goddamn injections though even if i have put on about 5lbs in the almost 2 months ive been on zyprexa. Really the munchies are the only bad side effect ive gotten from this med. But now that ive cut out drinking soda, cut my beer intake down and cut down on carbs in general i think i should be ok in the weight gain department. I also started working out with weights again 2 months ago and im already working out with alot heavier weights then when i started.

Depends on how heavy the meth use is some people don’t recover 100% from meth wd for as long as 14 months and some people recover from invega in 6 months just depends on the person and their brain chemistry other people might recovery from meth wd in 3 months and not recover from invega for 24 months I’d say overall invega is worse then meth but I wouldn’t call it way more harmful meth is no joke either.

I would honestly suggest finding a beter antipsychotic altogether. Abilify just sucks theres other options

Both are potentially bad. With meth use i have seen long lasting though not by any means permeant effects from use. With antipsychotics like invega they have a higher risk of causing TD and other fucked up movement disorders that sometimes dont fix themselves. I mean dont get me wrong meth isnt good either. One thing meth has going for it though is unlike invega you get a choice in if you wanna take meth. You sometimes dont with invega

Yeah exactly I was given invega not by choice although given my situation I would have much rather taken 2 shots of invega then smoked meth for a month straight cause adding meth to the mix of my psychosis would be pure hell, however if I was not psychotic and in good health and I had a choice to smoke meth for a month straight or take 2 invega sustenna shots I’d smoke the meth.

I have never taken meth as it's not common here but i have taken dexedrine and stayed up for 3 days without any psychosis or even any mild symptoms of something going wrong like shadow people. Meth is more neurotoxic then dexedrine though. I can't say ive ever suffered drug induced psychosis outside of taking dramamine i guess and fuck that shit.

Although i have seen the shadow people when severely hungover after a few days of drinking back before i had benzos or opiates to blunt a hangover. Plus i rarely drink to get very drunk these days anyway
 
Invega Sustenna in high doses can fuck you up for life, my tests on my brain came back abnormal for dementia and seizures and shit! I have to get more tests done! You’re talking to a perfectly healthy worked out three times a day accountant, married, had 500 ppl at her wedding, booming social life, you name person who suffered a psychosis and got put on Invega Sustenna too long and is now slurring her words and is dealing with massive consequences because of Invega Sustenna. My mind goes blank, and sometimes I slur my words and now my tests for my head are coming back all abnormal. Invega Sustenna does permanent damage. For you people who think it doesn’t I’m living proof that it does.
 
I just find it funny that ppl on this forum seem to think they know more then doctors when I’m under a huge care team of doctors looking after me saying that Invega Sustenna was culprit behind the damage done to me and on this form you have about seven ppl saying “no way it’s not that bad you can get over it” like no this shit is pure garbage! For sensitive brains it’s ruins lives. You’re just lucky you only got two or three shots of it.

Yeah I was never too much into stimulants like that but I did use amphetamines like vyvanse and adderall a handful of times I never experienced psychosis at all but at the time I was in good health, I’ve gotten psychosis from kratom withdrawal but never drugs themselves.

I’m sorry all those tests came back negative but it’s bs that invega sustenna causes permanent damage for everyone maybe it did for you and some others but some people recover 100% some don’t that’s just how it is.

I agree that’s a pure garbage never said it wasn’t i felt way more retarded on invega sustenna for a month straight then I did when I took 2mg of Xanax for my first time doing benzos but that doesn’t mean people can’t recover from it the brain has an amazing ability to heal it’s self from things like this, I’m sorry you potentially have dementia though it might just be showing up like that since you’re still on anti psychotics so I wouldn’t lost hope yet but if you really do have dementia it can shorten your life span quite a bit unfortunately shits no joke invega should be banned.
