19 months and counting but much better than it wasHow long did it take for anhedonia to go away after invega
I take it but don't really feel like it's doing much. I'm gonna probably keep taking it though. I also take CBD right now and St. John's Wort because I heard they can remove some antipsychotics from the brain..I'm also wondering if smoking cigs or weed or doing any dopaminergic drug might actually remove a bit of the antipsychotics from your brain every time you do them too.Would Lion's Mane Mushroom will be worth trying, for aiding the brain with recovery from Invega/Xeplion?
Do you guys think it is effective with regeneration of damaged receptors?
If I wont take anything like you've mentioned, will my brain still be able to get rid of the drug by itself and heal?I take it but don't really feel like it's doing much. I don't know, but if you don't take anything else (non-psychiatric) then your quality of life probably won't be as good..If I wont take anything like you've mentioned, will my brain still be able to get rid of the drug by itself and heal?
So you're saying that these supplements improved your quality of life? Do you recommend taking St. John Wort?I don't know, but if you don't take anything else (non-psychiatric) then your quality of life probably won't be as good..
I might try 5 HTP and St. John Wort then, maybe its worth the hassle.I don't know if the CBD or the St. John's Wort or 5-HTP pills I take sometimes how much they help to clear the antipsychotics out. I think the 5-HTP might have some effect that's noticeable and more than the St. John's Wort..but lets just say the street drugs that I do right now, do they help? Hell yes they do..no question..
I wouldn't call Satan's juice "great".Invega was a great med for about 8 months, until it made me lactate. It took about a few weeks for my chest sensitivity to fully go away. I wish i could go back on it for the ease of a shot just every so often instead of daily pills, but that side effect scared me.

Too many people, including myself, suffer because of it.
Every person reacts to it differently i guess. I was on it because i have schizoaffective, and it worked really great for awhile at controlling my symptoms. The side effects were not worth it in the end though. Im sorry it was such a bad drug forced on you. Ive had similar views with other meds myselfI wouldn't call Satan's juice "great".

It's supposed to increase serotonin production, but I guess it just does so pretty subtly. Another thing I have is capsules of mucuna pruriens which is this bean that's supposed to increase dopamine, I haven't took it in a while might start again though.I might try 5 HTP and St. John Wort then, maybe its worth the hassle.
Why do you take 5HTP for? what does it help with?
