I recovered fully in march 2021 but for two months prior I could enjoy stuff again and my sexual side effects went away in march I started to feel small amounts of emotions that increased for just over a month until it started to affect my sleep and they became seriously strong I was having crazy mood swings and it got so bad I started to develop psychosis and was sectioned for 3 months I’m back on invega after trying every available medication in the uk minus clozapine since December 2018 every antipsychotic makes me feel generally the same some worse than others no emotions lack of enjoyment etc at this point I’ve decided to stay on them permanently and take 175mg 3 monthly doses so I don’t have to think about taking it very often some people are just really sensitive to antipsychotic I’m just waiting for new ones to eventually try it is possible to recover it just takes a great deal of time I felt great for a few weeks but coming off again the stuff that I end up doing and saying to people is just not something I want to have to face again maybe it will be different for some of you but I’ve followed these threads for several years and it’s surprising that so many people are repeating exactly the same conversations over and over and it’s just exhausting to listen to tbh and I cant be bothered wading through it anymore so this is my last post I wish you all the best in your recoveries.

Hey idk ilhow much this interest ppl here. But theres a certain antipsychotic drug ive been researching and they just posted they had positive phase 3 results and will apply for new drug application in mid 2023. This is supposed to be an antipsychotic drug with a much better drug profile then the current meds as it dosnt block dopamine and serotonin receptors. This is good news as when this drug comes out they may just stop giving ppl invega and give this drug to ppl instead. Heres an article about it.

Thank you for sharing bro

Yeah new medication karxt is coming in 2024. Hopefully it has a better side effect profile. How long were you on the medication and how long did it take to recover? Yeah i also get back on meds cause i get on psychosis. But its always by force. Id rather try to control the psychosis then be on meds. You just feel lifeless on medications. Yeah ive tried a couple meds too and they also all made me feel like shit.

No problem :)
I just hate how it takes like 10+ years for a medication to get approved. Like we got drugs that have been tested for a while and there still not approved. Also, even after it gets approved in the usa by the fda. It needs to seperately get approved in other countries resulting in more clinical trials. Like if the fda approved it. Whats the point in other countries doing test to get the drug approved too. Do they not trust the FDA or something

one of the worst parts of invega is that it completely blocks out weed, I can’t even smoke a bowl & chill out. It sucks.
I took 10 shots of Abilify Maintena which is pretty much just like Invega. I took two shots of Invega in March and April of 2020 and recovered in about 6 months. I can’t get high when I vape or smoke weed but when I take edibles I get high. I found a loophole

I would like to know if anybody in the World got full insomnia and if they slept again. Because being bedridden plus full insomnia is really extenuated. I've been since October like this. Please, World, answer.
I feel your pain. I’ve been bedridden for almost 3 years now

Wow that sucks. I thought you said you recovered after 6 months.
Yeah I did but I’m also dealing with the deadly head wound spoken of in the book of Revelation and the book of Daniel. What started the process of me receiving the deadly head wound started on the night of August 27 2019 and finished up around September 3 2019

Why not take something like neocitrin to help you sleep
My problem is that I need sedation. There is no sleep anymore. People take things to help them with their own sleep but I don't have that since the 4th injection.

I am more suicidal than ever. The sleeping pills give me anxiety attacks in the mornings. I can really not live like this.

I am one of those cases they exclude from the data for being bad and rare.

I've been taking sleeping pills recommended for a month for a year now because otherwise I don't get any sleep because of invenga

When we recover Is our receptors gonna be sensitive to function ?
Hey bro,
I would get used to this feeling, I'm sorry to say this, but it might never go away and you'll have to get used to living this way. I wish you the best. After like 10 months you will be able to listen to music and watch shows more. I'd recommend going on really long walks and skateboard rides. It will help a little bit. Smoking tobacco really helps too even though you won't really feel it. I hope you feel better it really sucks, please don't hurt yourself.

Yeah I can hold a normal conversation, it's a lot harder. I don't think your normal emotions come back honestly.
