[Combo Subthread] LSD & Nitrous Oxide

during my most intense LSD/nitrous combo, I was obsessed with the infinity sign being the meaning of life. I had to keep chasing it by doing more cartridges. and I had pencil and paper to jot down random words that seemed to have a strong meaning. it all really made sense at the time.

another time on the same combo, I kept saying "My whippit won't end! It's the never ending whippit!" I was in a hotel with a bunch of friends, and eventually I realized that it wasn't the whippit that wouldn't quit, it was the acid peaking up higher than it had been. When I did the same combo again, like a month later, my whippit went in a circle and I ended up side by side with myself, but it was as if there was a glass wall between the two me's, and on one side was the current me, and on the other side was the me from the hotel incident. As the whippit faded, I went back around the spiral and into the actual room I was sitting in. I don't expect that to make much sense, but when I get to that state, things are more visual and expressed with obscure images and random objects for me, so it's really difficult to describe.

I just recently tried nitrous while peaking on acid, all I can say is WOW. The first balloon I don't remember, the second one I inhaled and then went away, and thought I had died and was conscious of it, then the third time I was laying on my drivewAy by my car at night, after the first inhale my visuals got realllyyy crazy, second inhale I got vivid fractal patterns in my feild of vision, then after that the next thing I knew was that I understood how the world work, as I had turned into an atom on someones body, and I could see my car was REALLLYY big, and this person that I was an atom of was getting beat by a cop for some felony thing idk, and in my mind it said like "no matter what/who you are or what you do, in the end it doesn't matter and we're all here to work together in positive and negative forces to equal out our universe" and then I jumped up because I was starting to come to and I REALLY thought I was the atom, so I was afraid of getting hit by the cops beating stick and I jumped up then realized what happend. This type of "all knowing big picture" theme happend for both me and my girlfriend, and we both agreed on the life-changing-ness of it, and how you know soo much about the world and yourself. A+++++++++ in my book, if you havent tried it, DO IT!

It's not exclusive to LSD. Nitrous Oxide does its amazing work when combined with any psychedelic. I generally always keep it around the house so I can have it when I trip.

my girl had an experience smoking 5-MEO-DMT while on DXM, in which she claims to have travelled a few years into the past, inhabited her former self while peaking on LSD and nitrous, then transferring to it her current DMT-state, thereby creating her initial memory of the experience's potency and closing a causal loop. Something like that. Whatever it was, it amused me.

personally, I've only ever huffed a few whipped cream cans on substandard LSD, and while it did kick the visuals in the ass, I never had a transcendental experience because of it.

I thought we were talking about time warps?

i fully agree with you - yet i have the feeling that LSD adds especially well with N2O.

Every time I use Nitrous and LSD, I enter the same eternal recurrence situation.

I feel as if I understand the very heart of everything, and at the same time that I will never return.

Then I start to track back into the loop, enter time, and sync back in.

More odd than fun, but infinitely moreish.

It sure is! I often find myself going through more than 5 canisters in one go, with the intention of just having one or two

I thought it was the time-space continuum... not the time warp continuum. ;)

I have the feeling inhaling nitrous has nothing to teach me at all (apart from being able to witness my addictive behavior patterns). It just seems utterly worthless in regards to insight that I value so much from psychedelics.

Have these nitrous experiences taught you anything (above and beyond what LSD can teach you)?

Why bother with it (besides fun) if its not going to teach you anything?

open a big tank "dentists use" of no2 in a room where everyones trippin at. and youll waste some time, sooooooooooo much fun

I hope you're not serious... this is a very stupid, dangerous idea. People have died from being in an enclosed space with too much nitrous. If you all pass out from the nitrous, who is going to turn it off? You will all suffocate.

In the interests of harm reduction please stick to using balloons or a cream dispenser.

I would have to agree, nitrous probably has little if anything to teach you. I feel that way about all dissasociatives though, so its probably just my preference. No denying how incredibly fun whipits are though.

On the other hand LSD really has nothing to teach you either, its just a tool to open up whats already inside and bring that latent knowledge to the conscious surface.

L and no2 is the only combo that I have ever experienced a +4 on.8o Truely amazing. Freaked me the fuck out though at first. My cylinder vision completely closed up on me and I sat up in shock saying "ahh!" Then it subsided and my came to my friends staring at me in the "oh shit he's lost it" concerned look. Then I explained to them it felt like I entered another dimention while knowing my physical body still existed even though I could not feel it. I haven't been able to recreate that effect since. I'm sure a hefty dose of L will do nicely though.

I have had some very meaningful experiences with this combo. I have felt the same universal love/compatibility of everything much like mdma. I don't see how this experience is less likely to teach a person something than any other phys experience.

I does seem addictive though...

I've never done LSD, but last night I did a 2ce + NO2 combo which I think is probably quite similar. I've tripped quite hard on different substances but never had any kind of breakthrough like this.

The combination was 12mg 2ce plugged (one of my stronger 2ce trips and I've done as much as 20mg plugged and 30mg orally) and then a NO2 cartidge at peak about 30-40 minutes after dropping (peak hits fast for me when plugging).

This was the first time I've ever experienced complete and total ego loss. It was like I completely stopped existing and what was left in the space was some sort of vortex. The effect I recall was something similar to when playing a first person shooter and there's some bit of the level without a texture, so the computer fills in the textureless space with everything around it, except it involved all 5 senses. I lost complete and total sense of myself, who I was, and everything around me and everything was filled in with this kind of looped image/sound/feeling/taste/smell with little bits here and there being added onto it.

There's so much I'd like to say about it since it was such an intensely deep experience for me and bonded me so closely to the 3 people I was with at the time, but it was only last night so I'm still trying to gather the details in my head and make sense of them all. I'm definitely going to write some sort of trip report later.

n2o and LSD is an excellent idea. Has anyone else compared it to DMT? I ate 3.5 grams of cyanescens, about 1000 ug of LSD, 150 mg of pure mdma, and did about 20 whippets throughout. This was probably the most fun I've ever had... I remember shouting "none of this is real, AND this is the most fun I've ever had!!!!!" and rolling in the grass. I felt that the combination of these drugs launched me into the same place I go on DMT, but it was absolutely ecstatic and the most beautiful thing. I did it several times and it had this same effect of the sensation of ecstatically leaving my body and interacting with the same energies that I encounter on DMT, and seeing visually a lot of the same stuff from DMT trips.

One problem though- I'm trying to convince my friends to use nitrous with LSD as well, but they seem to be scared of it, like there is a stigma surrounding it. Does anyone have a link to some literature that might change their minds and convince them to explore the magic of this combo?

I've never done nitrous (yet) and havn't had any time warping just on lsd. But I do get majour time slow down on Cannabis and Salvia. Time is almost 10 slower and I am litrally paralised

Nitrous on LSD always fucks up the audio somehow.

YES!!!! I love the auditory effects of nangs, it's the main reason I have them. And the lovely body feeling too. Psytrance or equally psychedelic dance music breakdowns/buildups and nitrous=bliss. Only time I've really seen the music. ;)
