Forgive me if this is obvious, but a lot of users in this thread seem to be suggesting inhaling nitrous directly from the valve.

Doesn't that risk damaging your lungs in a few ways (including full on bursting?) Using a balloon was always hammered home in my circles as hard as having a tripsitter and water.

I never did that as it's a waste if you cant take it all in and yes can damage lungs.

Most people here are talking about straight from a cracker, not a tank. Much less dangerous. Still not ideal and, not much risk of bursting a lung considering the low volume of gas.
