So what exactly are you wondering about?

It doesn't sound like the chemicals "canceled each other out" in your case.

The one time I mixed LSD and 2C-B, I found it intensely visual, but that the somewhat sinister/hedonistic nature of 2C-B made the LSD trip less of a profound and healing journey.

But the tracers of my waving hands did last for well over a minute. I could draw 3-D art tracers right before my eyes.

However it's not a combination I will ever repeat, as I don't find 2C-B to be one of the better psychedelics.
 
just the 5 hits of cid should have had me going hard for at least 12 hours. The entire experience didnt even last 5 hours.
 
How strong is the cross tolerance with the 2c's and L? If I were to take a 2c-x tonight, would I be able to trip with L tomorrow night? This wouldn't work right?

I've never really had to think about this, but this is my last weekend of freedom for a while.
 
2c's dont really have much of a tolerance build up. I spent almost a week trippin on 2ce. And lsd + 2ct7 left me in a psychedelic coma for almost 14 hours.
 
I would think about an hour into the lsd trip, but it did nothing for me so what do I know :)
 
If it only lasted 5 hours, your LSD was inactive.

A 2C-x drug and LSD can be taken on consecutive days, back to back, or right on top of each other with very little cross tolerance.
 
that's weird joef51. When I did the same combo I had a very nice trip. I took the 2C-B about 2 hours after the acid and had a very beautiful and blissful experience that lasted as long as acid should last.
 
Sometimes LSD is not put on a sheet consistantly.

That's about all I can tell you. Nobody knows why you didn't trip like you should have. Better luck next time?
 
Did you take the LSD friday night, and then saturday night?

Tolerance, my friend. It's not just for junkies.
 
^ Sometimes I find even a week apart and my trip is noticeably lessened; though I do still trip out so I think bluedolphin may be right that the sheet wasn't layed out evenly.
 
yep, there's no way the 2c-b caused your acid trip to shorten.

brilliant combo though, it's one of my favourites. :)
 
phenethylamines build up massive amounts of tolerance that last a long time. Perma-tolerance almost.

I think 2CB and LSD don't have very much cross-tolerance based on some experiments I've done.

Its possible though that a psychedelic with higher affinity for HT2a can displace a lower affinity molecule from the receptor site, but this is unlikely it happened in your case. I suspect 2CB interacts with a different region in prefrontal cortex than LSD anyways, if I had to put money on it.
 
predicting the effects of psychedelics tends to be fruitless both qualitatively and quantitatively for myself.

remember back in my more experimentive days taking sucking down a whip cream can at the peak of an acid trip. as you said, i shot up like a rocket ship, then when the nitrous came down ~2 min later it seemed as though it took much of my acid trip with it..!!

i was still undoubtedly altered post-nitrous, but i was bummed out about the lessening of intensity.

those psyhedelics are tricky and mysterious ones...


*my other personal support for the unpredictability of psychedelics was a mushroom experience i had on a school night. 9 hours into the experience it felt like i was higher than ever. after a few hours of half-sleep the next day at school, still in another world...1st period calculus, lol. i just wrote the notes and acted casual, it was more foreign than heiroglyphics at the time.** <before someone says it was DOx laced mushrooms, I'm Pretty Sure from my recollection that the mushrooms were from a batch i had a decent quantity of, and this certainly never happened more than once.

Really? I notice a HUGE tolerance build-up from the 2C-Xs... after doing them frequently for a while I can't even really trip on them at all.
