Codeine side effect?

Sorry to not be clear. It doesn't have anything to do with the formulation using either Aspirin or APAP. Any codeine formulations contain sodium metabisulfite which acts as a preservative.

Since you are doing a cwe, the water causes the foul smelling gas sulfur dioxide to be released.
 
only thinig ive gotten is itchyy as fuck and burning everywhere even on my head..allergic reaction i think..but naw i only get nasty taste in mouth when wd..never heard of what you got

Thanks for the answer, now I finally know what causes that foul smell.
By the way, it subsides after exactly 20 minutes. Weird.
 
^ No problem at all! I suppose it doesn't come up a lot, because most people move on to 'harder' opiates before they reach the point in dosing where they would be doing cwe. And it's something unique to codeine.

Odd stuff the way different medicines are compounded differently.

Yeah, the only "harder" opiate I've done is Oxycodone, which I do enjoy, but have an extremely hard time finding since I just moved.
I also did some Hydromorphone a few years back, it was alright.
 
I specifically joined this site to reply to this thread. I just had that strange smell happen to me after a cwe.. It wasn't the water itself, it was a chemical reaction inside my body that I've had before (different "odor" tho) when they gave me contrast (dye) right before an mri. I can only describe it as a strange "salty" plastic smell that took place about a minute after ingesting the codeine. If you read this let me know if that descriptionmatches what you smelled.
