Cocodamol - The drug of the credit crunch? plus other codeine/dihydrocodeine queries

my regular dose is 500mg, I seem to have a high natural tolerance to the stuff.
 
Fuck me, that is a lot. I guess my opiate tolerance is very low. I've had about 150mg of the remaining bottle today, and it seems a lot more suited to me. I doubt I'll ever have the stuff again, now.

Are you able to take that high a dose without antihistamines? I've taken 400mg before and went bright red, flushed and extremely itchy, so much so that I was worried I might be in physical danger.
 
nope not at all, can't take any recreational dose without antihistamines
 
Gee's is so foul tasting and weak that I wish I'd never bothered.
 
Codeine is one of those drugs that you have to do a few times, before you really understand and feel the effects. It's seems that it floored you (quite literally), even though you couldn't feel the mental effects. It's an odd one.

Because of my fondness for cweing coco's when I've needed to take them for pain they've not bloody worked :!

Have asked for a prescription of something stronger 8) doubt I'll get it. Will be left to fucking self medicate pain and not sure where to pitch that dose wise. Dam :X I really need to stop fannying around with cocodamol and keep it for proper use :!:o:X

they contain next to fuck all actives these days and are thus less abusable. gees contains a tiiiny amount of opium tinct and morphine/kaolin like 19mg morphine. not much at all compared to 600mg codeine.
 
very true. i'll ask in the chemist that commented 'we sell hundreds of these!' about gee's lol
 
my friend got given a hefty line of cocodamol and was told it was mdma a few years ago. He ended up on the toilet puking and shitting himself at the same time, those involved felt pretty guilty I think.
 
^ that's a bit much for a prank! What happened to slipping a skinless banana between your mates butt cheeks while they were asleep then waking them up in the morning with 'Get up something STINKS in here, you have to hep us find it'

^ How come it cost £4? I thought you either paid about £7-8 or got it for free (if you meet certain criteria, like being under 18 & in FT education or being on benefits)?
 
Free prescriptions as a student, n free prescriptions for everyone anyway in Wales! =D

...doubt i'd get a script though, unless I really milk it about my wisdom teeth. Had some 30mgs that my mate brought back from Spain, and god I have such a low tollerance to codeine, 45mg has me feeling really nice n warm n snug, although I can go up to about 240 or so and not really have much itching.
